I j just had my windshield replaced today 6/27/2024. Glass doctor was everything the other company (Safelite) was not. Glass doctors was professional and on time which was the complete opposite of Safelite. After Glass doctor finished installing my windshield I could Immediately drive my car whereas with Safelite , I had to wait a few hours after they replaced my windshield because they used cheap glue that took a few hours to cure. Also, when the Safelite removed my windshield, they left scratches in the metal that should have sealed up to prevent rust from forming beneath my windshield however they just left them unsealed knowing I wouldn’t have known any better which is taking advantage of me and poor workmanship. But in contrast, the glass doctor technician took the time to seal up all the scratches made from removing my windshield with a special primer to prevent any rust from forming beneath my windshield and why – because that’s the correct way to do the job. NOW HERES THE MOST CRUCIAL, IMPORTANT REASON I WOULD RECOMMEND GLASS DOCTOR – if your windshield gets damaged from a road hazard or cracked within a year of being installed, Glass doctor WILL REPLACE IT FOR FREE whereas Safelite will not.
