We had Quality Windows & Doors, from Pleasanton, replace all of our windows and sliding glass doors in our house and they did a wonderful job! Julio and Felix were the installers, and they were a pleasure to work with, and their craftsmanship was very good. They changed two of our sliders to double sliders and they are very nice. We had casings put around all of the windows and sliders, and they look perfect. We really appreciate the work that Julio and Felix did, and they were very nice and responsible. We had Milgaard windows and doors installed, and we believe Quality Windows & Doors gave us a competitive price on the project. Thank you to Paul O’Keefe for all of his help with choosing the windows and doors we wanted. We are very happy customers!

Leading with an edit: feel free to read below if you want the full story. Long and short this is a company committed to ensuring the job is done right. There were some issues with the initial installation of my new front door, but a they sent out someone else on Monday, and I’m impressed. This isn’t my first front door install, but it might be one of the best I’ve ever seen. This door will definitely outlast me and the install is spot on. The reveal is perfect, trim work is spot on, everything is sealed and insulated properly. My front new front door I absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t be more thrilled. This review started off at two stars on Friday where things just weren’t going well with the install. Today I’m giving them five stars for the way everything was handled after that. I believe in giving companies the chance to make things right and they did. Original: I’m going to preface this with there were a couple issues on the job that were entirely because of my house and its age, namely size of opening and floor height relative to the opening. That out of the way, I will say that communication from the office was responsive, and quotes were detailed. Install was today, front door nothing more. Installer ran into the above mentioned issues which caused for more work. That being said, it’s five o’clock on a Friday and I have an incomplete door install. No trim installed, just paper on the outside. No flashing under the door sill or anywhere on the install. Deadbolt strike plate isn’t installed. I just did the interior trim myself to keep the noise and cold out. Oh yeah I ended up supplying my own materials. By the way the top of the door is not level and the door is not flush with the walls on all side, just one side and most of the top, so I’m going to have to find a way to make the other side trim look better later. I’ll say the installer tried hard, but at 3:30 he was talking about how it’s the end of the day and he doesn’t have anymore time. Really? I wish I could just pack up at 3:30 and call it a day. Oh did I mention my living room is covered in saw dust and I had to supply my own tarp to cover my couch once I realized how much dust was coming into the house? Suffice to say I don’t feel good about this install at all. He coming back on Monday to finish the exterior work. I’m not hopeful. I’m really not. I think the installer just needs more training and experience. A second more experienced set of hands should have come out when the problems came up. I wouldn’t normally do this before the job was done but they close at 4 and it’s the weekend and I’m just at my wits end with this project. Unless they can get some rock star to come out and fix this mess, I won’t be able to recommend. Edit: so that Monday after all this they sent a different crew to finish the job. Let me just say, this crew was amazing. They fixed what the previous guy did wrong. They tarped off their work area and kept stuff clean. They worked efficiently and with care and skills I wish these guys showed up last week. I bumped the review to three stars from two. If today’s crew showed up last week, this would have been a five star review, easily.

Windows are a commodity – tons of companies carry them, and you can even order them online. So why go with Quality Windows & Doors? Customer service and fair pricing. Eric and Billy at QW&D are outstanding to work with. They are VERY knowledgeable about different types of windows, double-check all the measurements, and follow through on all questions. They also go above and beyond their responsibilities – one of the windows we ordered had a hairline crack in it that we discovered during the installation. We did not buy damage protection, yet they contacted the manufacturer anyway to help us with the replacement. All windows arrived precisely on time too, just as promised.
