I moved in my house 3 years ago, and my all doors and windows installed with the Pella products. About 6 month ago, my entrance door lock is not working. Recently I found the door is installed with unbalanced when I was seeing outside thru the door gap when it was open little bit. I called Pella service and one lady said that the service warranty is only two years and it will be charged $500.00 because of two technician should come out and I accept. But when she call me back for Schedule she said it couldn’t be done at the first trip, and at the first trip only checking the issue not fix the door and they will charge $250.00 for just to do the checking the issue. I could understand the situation if when they come out to fix the door, and try to fix, and if it is bigger problem than they thought. But it is not easy to understand that they come out to just check and charge $250.00.

I had a similar or same experience with those who gave this business 1 star. Their product is good but but how they do business is getting to the point where I can call them con artists. I complained them for late installation and damaged door. They promised a refund just to persuade me from returning the door . They never sent me the check for a year so I filed a complaint to BBB and only then they sent me the check to close the case. But then after two years they sent me a bill demanding me to return the refund!! These guys will do everything to erase the bad review and slap you in the back. I have all the paperwork and I can prove what I am saying. Be careful everyone who is considering doing by business with this dealer.

While I understand that Pella makes a very good product, I can no longer justify ever recommending them. Our doors and windows have been quoted 3 different delivery dates, with each new date being pushed back from the original. Our entire addition is now beholden to Pella, a company that cannot keep their word. Do bot order from here unless it’s 10 months in advance! I wish I could switch to any other manufacturer! So sad.

Don’t purchase anything from this organization. After many phone calls & visits to their Paramus office, a serviceman finally came & advised Pella did not treat the wood properly on 6 windows which caused them to rot away. However, they would not repair or replace them.

The worst customer experience I have ever dealt with. They delivered a damaged door that was also the wrong order in May. I paid in full and as of July 19, I still have no resolution in place. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Extremely poor customer service, especially coming from a premium brand like Pella. We spent close to $25,000 on 11 windows and after waiting for around 2 months for the delivery, 2 of the windows came in damaged. Kristin Tesei told us that Pella will replace the damage units at no cost and that I would be compensated for the contract to reinstall the window. They placed the order for the replacement windows which will delay the project completion by another 2 months and now they are refusing to compensate for the contractor fees to reinstall the broken window. I don’t know if this type of dishonest practice is frequent with Pella or specific to this store, but I am extremely disappointed. Beyond that I was told to get in touch with the regional manager Kyle Perdelwitz who I had to leave multiple messages for on his cell and chase for weeks before I got a call back. I still have to replace another 20 windows in the back. Since Pella does not value my business, I will be going to Anderson. Avoid this store at all costs. Will never use it again. Extremely disappointed. Wish I could give them 0 stars.

I had a broken window which needed replacement. Pella determined that the problem was one which qualified us for a free replacement window. I took the option of having one of their techs do the actual installation of the new window for a modest charge, rather than doing it myself. The installation had to be rescheduled twice, because of problems on my end. Everyone I dealt with at the company, from the folks in the office to the tech who did the installation were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I would have no hesitation doing business with the company again.

The windows that were installed look decent, but the process was fraught with difficulties and headaches that I didn’t expect from an industry leader. One of the two large windows that I ordered was improperly sized, despite measurements taken by two different Pella agents. I reached out repeatedly to Jamie, my salesperson, who was of absolutely no help. A far cry from the eager salesperson that I dealt with before signing the contract. Scores of texts and calls went answered. My existing window frame had to be replaced to accommodate the wrongly sized new window, and I was promised a prompt follow-up call from the company’s painter, who would finish the newly installed frame. I had to jump through hoops, place multiple calls, and even contact Pella’s regional sales manager before the painter finally reached out. Long story short, after the painter had finished painting the frame and adjacent wall surface, I had to sand down and touch them up myself to remove several paint drips left by the painter. Luckily for me, I drove a hard bargain and got a fairly good price, because there was nothing premium about the product and even less so about the service that Pella delivered.
