I wouldn’t recommend them for they are not trustworthy. One of their trucks driven by Adam Bojara, son of the owner had a metal door fly off the truck and hit my vehicle. Adam admitted responsibility and said his insurance company would cover it. But now he refuses to cooperate with his insurance company and they won’t pay until he returns either their calls or emails. I’ve learned there are multiple claims against them but like with mine, they refuse to cooperate. It’s been two months now and I’m on the hook for the damages he caused.

First, The Glassman has been in business for over 40 years–that should tell you something. We needed a 46 in diameter 1/4 clear tempered glass with 2 inch hole for our outdoor patio table, and Jean and her staff handled expertly for a reasonable price. Absolutely no issues! Everything was as promised. I highly recommend this company for its service and value!

This is not a retail shop. Most places in an industrial area do not work on small traditional residential projects, but I thought I would stop by and try. Even though they couldn’t do my project, Jean was extremely helpful. She looked at my broken medicine cabinet mirror and explained to me in detail what I needed and provided some names, addresses, and phone numbers for other vendors that may be able to fix it.

Called to ask about cutting some glass for my father to install, the person on the phone kept pointing me to another company and telling me they don’t do glass cutting. I understand if you need a certain glass and some glasses you are not able to cut and that is completely fine. The person in the phone though was super rude and aggressive when telling me about it almost shouting at me that they don’t do that when I was just asking. Had a very demeaning tone and accused me of doing something illegal or against code when I was just asking if he could cut a glass. I don’t know about glass so obviously I was confused and asked but he was just rude to me and gave me short answers.

Unprofessional and Discriminatory Customer Service Experience. I recently had an extremely unpleasant encounter today with a company that left me deeply disappointed and disheartened. The incident occurred when my father called their customer service line seeking assistance in Spanish. To my shock, the representative on the other end responded with a dismissive and discriminatory remark, saying, “No sir, this is America, we speak English.” First and foremost, I want to highlight the unprofessionalism displayed by this company’s representative. Regardless of the language spoken, customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. It is the responsibility of any business to ensure that their representatives are trained to handle customer inquiries in a professional and culturally sensitive manner. Unfortunately, this company failed miserably in that regard. The representative’s response was not only rude but also completely uncalled for. In a diverse and multicultural country like the United States, it is astonishing to encounter such an attitude. The implication that the company’s location in America should exempt them from providing assistance in languages other than English is both ignorant and discriminatory. The response I received raises serious concerns about the company’s commitment to diversity and equal treatment of all individuals. Discrimination on the basis of language is unjustifiable and goes against the principles of inclusivity and respect that should underpin every customer interaction. I strongly urge this company to reflect on their discriminatory practices and take immediate steps to rectify this issue. It is imperative that they train their employees to handle language-related inquiries with professionalism and cultural sensitivity. Their discriminatory response, “No sir, this is America, we speak English” demonstrates a clear lack of respect for linguistic diversity and customer inclusivity. I will certainly not be patronizing this company in the future, and I would strongly advise others to consider alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction and cultural sensitivity. Edit: Yet, their response is unapologetic for their discriminatory response/comment. A simple “sorry sir, we do not have someone that speaks Spanish” reply would have been more than okay.

I just left this place I was greeted horrible I was given a quote of 250 and told they only take cash The nastiness was so strong I thought I was in a movie I left there called a different glass place and paid $50 more when I got to the new place I told them of my experience they said they have heard of them and refer to them as being very racist I told him I felt like that I’d rather pay more

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I had an antique piece of furniture with a broken mirror that seemed impossible to find someone to replace. I called over 10 local companies before someone recommended The Glass Man. Jean was amazing! She gave a quote, and had the mirror for me a week later. I’ve waited 2 weeks for a return call from other companies. They are super knowledgeable at what they do. So nice to deal with a company that does great work and has great communication. Thank you so much!!

Called over a month and a half ago for a hotel window window repair. Woman stated the window will be available within 15 days. I did not hear anything until I called earlier this week. Apparently they got the windows in the previous Thursday or Friday (woman’s words). I asked about an install date she informed me they were busy and that the crew was in st pete and she will call me back with an install date sometime over the course of the next 2 weeks. Low and behold the crew showed up unannounced on a Saturday and when asked if we were being charged overtime they said they don’t know they would call me back. The crew decided to leave and when I called them back they said I have to reschedule with the office. I called the office to see if we can reschedule for Tuesday they lady informed me that they will come back when they can because today they had a window open all the while there was no communication from the office however i was informed that they are humans who are busy and make mistake.. Unfortunately we will not be furthering our business with this company and I wish I could give it 0 stars.
