Cameron came and fixed the detached portion of the GutterGuard and checked the rest for damage. He cleaned out a couple of roof areas that had accumulated some debris. He was helpful, efficient, and friendly. All covered by insurance. Excellent work. I highly recommend JB&D. THANK YOU

We went to JB&D and talked to Kianna who answered our questions and she was extremely helpful.She sent out the manager Russell who looked at our roof and explained we had hail damage which was a surprise to us. After contacting our insurance company they confirmed everything and we received a new roof with the help of JB&D. The installer Sam and his team were very pleasant to work with and Russell and Sam had our job finished within 30 days. Everyone has been helpful and we would highly recommend JB&D.

Horrible experience with them from day 1. They sent an inexperienced contract team to our home for siding and windows in 2018. We are still finding issues with the siding and windows. Communication with them is impossible. My husband and I have been calling both locations regarding broken windows and our calls are not being answered. Do not do business with this company!

Our house was built in the 1920s so new windows have been a long time coming and we could not be happier with the work that Cameron Louden and his crew did with JB&D. Hired JB&D to replace all our windows in our home. Russell Ruey was very helpful and professional, he followed up to ensure we were happy with the install. Cameron Louden and his crew was fast, efficient and professional. Excellent work!! Highly recommended and will use them again! Call them for all you home improvement needs!! These guys are great! In two days our 130-year old house was looking fresh and new. The crew works fast and efficiently, each member doing a specific task: some tearing off the old, some cleaning up as they went, some doing the siding—all workers hard-working and friendly. The trimmer is an artist with tin-snips (he cuts in 45° angles, and not just squared off, which I think looks a lot more professional). Best of all, and most important above all, is service after the workers leave—the little touch-ups and what-nots—was fantastic! Should a problem come, just call Russ, and he’ll made it good! I waited until after winter to post my review to see how the new insulation compared to the old tarpaper they tore off. Our plaster walls were warm; our gas bill lower, our home snug and comfy without the cold wind seeping through.

UPDATE: A little over a year ago I had JB&D replace my windows and go from aluminum siding to vinyl siding. I was very impressed initially but a year into my “lifetime warranty” I still have things that are not completely finished. My siding was put on in the winter and it was snowing that day. Several of the caps that go over the shutter screws were broken and here I am a year later and the broken ones have still not been replaced. There was a corner of siding that needed repaired, they sent a repairman who did a worse job than what was originally there. I have multiple text messages w/ the salesman and every time I turn around it’s another excuse. I’ve been told materials would be in then the date comes and nothing. Reach out again, get told he is going to have a crew from Peoria come to do the work because he doesn’t have anyone to send for my repairs. Time passes and he hasn’t gotten a chance to talk to them to see what their schedule is. Time passes again, 2 voicemails left for the Galesburg office. No call back. No word, no calls from the office to tell me when someone would be here. Recently I was at my end, yet backed off because I was informed there were some family things going on. No word, then I see he is off to vacation so I send another message. This time I get told I will hear from him in 2 weeks because we will have a break in weather and he will be able to get someone here. 2 weeks was yesterday and no word. I constantly see “You’ve got a friend in the business” on posts of recent jobs done by JB&D and their affiliations. Yeah, I thought I had a friend in the business but lesson learned – don’t do business with friends!!! The funny thing is, from the very 1st meeting I told him how high of a priority communication is with me. I love my home and hope someday JB&D follows through and it can finally be considered completed. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I used to work in Galesburg for another roofing, siding and window company so I have known of JB&D for years. The company I worked for is no longer in business. JB&D was our biggest competitor and I always had a lot of respect for the company and the work I would see being done in the area. I have wanted to update the outside of my home for as long as I can remember – I have lived in my house for 29 years next month. I knew I wanted gray with dark plum or burgundy shutters. I was also in dire need of new windows. JB&D took care of it all and I absolutely love the results!! From getting the estimate, signing the papers, getting supplies ordered and delivered to having the work done this was a great experience!! The crews that came to my house were knowledgeable, professional and all around great guys!! They are all excellent craftsmen and when they were done they cleaned everything up as if they were never even there!! I cannot say enough good about JB&D and everyone that I worked with through this process! If you have home improvement projects you want done, call JB&D!! They are the BEST of the BEST!!!

So pleased with our new storm doors! Great customer service and skill and knowledge of the team of 4 that installed! Cameron, Eric, Devon and Payton aka “Scalp” you were so much fun and you did a fantastic job with teamwork! 5 new sliders is a lot but you guys really did a fabulous job! Russ came initially to give us the estimate and we equally felt confident about his knowledge and customer care! I would recommend this company!! Great job on clean up as well! Took 3 months to get a replacement window they did not order the trim to lock the window in was ordered many weeks ago still waiting on it. They hardly answer the Macomb number.
