Discussed purchasing 4 exterior doors with the sales associate. He told me he would send a quote but didn’t ask for my contact info so I reminded him to take it. He never got back to me. Unless your order is huge, these people won’t bother with you.

Superior product and a high level of service from the sales agents. The delivery of a 40,000 dollar shipment in windows consists of them pulling their truck to the curb NOT lifting the units from the truck to the curb. This was not explained to me upon placing the order. Over all the whole delivery experience soured my transaction with a business that prides itself on excellence. I would have gladly paid for a proper delivery if I had been offered that service.

Had a similar experience with another reviewer. We went into the showroom to look at options for a couple of doors and windows. The sales person was very aloof when showing us the options. He said they will send us a quote when we left. We never heard back from them again. (Other businesses we went to were able to give quotes either on the spot or within the next business day.) It didn’t feel like they cared about our business, and we would not recommend going there if you want to be taken seriously as a customer with a smaller purchase.

Like the previous review said: “a pretty rude staff”. I ordered 22 new windows and 4 doors for a brand new building. I supplied the plans and asked for the windows per the plans and was assured that’s what I would get. I didn’t. I got 6 bedrooms windows that were 42″ when the plans called for 36″. I called the next day and left a message and was called back a few minutes later and yelled at by a secretary and was told it was my fault. Yesterday I was told by the man who took the order that he was helping me (unlike other window companies) by making them bigger because the already approved windows and plans would not pass inspection because they wouldn’t allow proper egress. This is not true ( I called the city and asked they said: 5.7 square feet is the minimum The net clear openable area shall be no less than 5.7 square feet (5 square feet for grade floor openings from exterior grade and basement window wells). In addition to the above requirement, the net clear openable height dimension shall be a minimum of 24 inches). Since these windows took two months to come in I have no choice but to reframe the already framed window openings and use them. This is added time, materials and labor expenses. Taylor Brothers collected a down payment from me at the time of the order and the balance was to be paid before delivery (I’m glad they screwed this up too and didn’t collect). They realized their mistake and Yesterday the man who took the order and assured me everything was going to be fine and he was a contractor himself threatened to put a lien on my property if I didn’t pay right on the spot over the phone. I will never ever do any business with this company again due to rudeness and unprofessional attitudes from both employees. I’m sure the owner doesn’t know how badly they screwed up (even collecting the balance). The worst part of this is I asked how can this be worked out so I can pay them and get some help toward the reframing costs. I WAS IGNORED showing more unprofessional behavior and rudeness. I guess no answer is an answer too.
