We had Lafayette Glass come out and remove our store front glass so that we could move equipment that wouldn’t fit through the doorways and then put the glass back in. They did an excellent job and went above and beyond with their help. They were also extremely personable!

As a local property manager, we love to use Lafayette Glass for all of our window & sliding glass window replacements! Two years ago we decided to start using them because our glass company at the time was not working out – I wish we had made that decision sooner! The Lafayette Glass office management team is always professional, answers their phone, sets up a tech to come measure within a week and calls me within 48 hours to give me the cost and ETA for that specific job. We have always had very knowledgeable, honest, and skilled technicians do the installs. So, when our company decided to spend the money to install a brand new commercial entry door to our clubhouse, the choice to use Lafayette Glass wasn’t difficult. On the commercial side, we worked with Erin, who immediately came out to measure and provided us with a fair estimate and time for install. Erin knows his stuff and recommended the best type of door for our needs. The door arrived exactly on schedule and was installed in one day, which was a big job because the old one had to be removed too. The techs on our job were Gerard, Juan, and John – these guys were not only great at what they do, but also easy to talk to, great at explaining what’s going on, and I truly enjoyed having them at our office for a day! When they had questions for me, they were polite and very professional too. A few tweaks had to be made after door install (mostly due to my OCD) and Juan was back out here before we even opened to take care of us! EXCEPTIONAL quality work and service all around is all we have ever received from Lafayette Glass Co. & we look forward to continued business in the future!

I had a single 2-pane window broken in September ’22. I brought the window to this store in Lafayette and picked it up with the intention of measuring and ordering the glass (9 week delivery). I did this 2 more times over the next 3 months because the glass they procured was the incorrect size. They knocked off 20% from the price, and gave me free onsite installation. The response was appreciated, but 4 months to replace a small pane of glass is not good business.

I had one of my fogged window glass replaced at Lafayette glass. The glass was ordered by Lafayette glass. When one of Lafayette glass technician replaced glass from vinyl frame. An very substandard job was done. May be I had a bad luck that day when an amateur technician was replacing glass for me. A picture is worth more than thousands words. Here are pictures to show how the glass was installed. After submitting these pictures to Lafayette Glass, the shop sent out a technician and took the window back to the shop. The window corner seals was remedied a little bit.

The installer was on-time and quick with the install. He valued my time and was extremely clean to the point of bringing in his own shop vac. The install work was flawless. I would recommend them to anyone. Because of the age of the window, the small object that hit my back window made it a full window glass replacement, and not a normal pane. They worked very hard to match the window with an exact replacement.
