This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. I rarely write reviews, but it is needed for this company. We had precision install a brand new garage door for us about 8 months ago. A few of weeks ago our garage door completely hopped off the tracks and broke. The garage door did not hit or close on anything, we simply pressed our garage door button and this happened. The only explanation for the door breaking like this would be workmanship and that something was not installed correctly. We had one technician come out and quote us $385 for the garage door to be fixed and reported being unsure of warranty coverage. Then we had to pay this technician $85 just for coming out to confirm that our garage door was broken, and we were never made aware of this fee. We reviewed our paperwork which stated there was “limited lifetime warranty” coverage for workmanship issues. After reviewing this, we had a second technician come out who then quoted us $1200 to fix the door and replace parts. Not sure how our quote could’ve changed this drastically in just a matter of days. This technician blamed us for the garage door breaking and accused me of lying to my husband and claimed that I must have closed the garage door on something that must have broken it and then not told my husband about it. This is a ridiculous claim as my husband and I were both there when this happened and as I mentioned, all we did was press our garage door button to close our door as we do every day. Precision continues to be defensive and blaming when in actuality, their workmanship was the only thing to blame for our garage door breaking and they refuse to take accountability for it. We had a local company, Royal Door, come out and they confirmed that in fact the brackets on the door were installed poorly. This company was extremely nice and helpful and they completely repaired the door in 30 minutes for only $175 without having to replace any parts, which Precision claimed we would have to do. It is outrageous business practice that precision is running and they absolutely do not value their customers and want to rip people off. They do not stand behind their work. I will be spreading the word about how terrible this company is. Absolutely do not waste your money on Precision, and go with a different garage door company.

upset there isn’t an option for 0 stars. Had a brand new garage door with all of its components installed 09/2023, the garage hopped off of its tracks without any explanation other than workmanship 8months later. called them to come out and fix the broken pieces due to the door coming off its tracks and reinstall back on the tracks. first technician came out and told me it would be $385 to mount and balance it again, and that there was no workmanship warranty whatsoever but the broken parts would be covered but the labor wan’t free. I declined his service as I believe there to be a workmanship guarantee and that it was their liability and so the technician forced me to pay him $85 simply because he came to my house to look at the faulty garage door that THEY installed. after this I find in the fine print that they do in fact have a workmanship guarantee so I have a technician come a second time who concludes nothing was wrong with the install but to replace the panel and broken pieces it would be $1235. absolutely atrocious business practice. I’ve never in my 32 years left a review. These guys do not stand by their work product and simply want you to pay essentially a subscription service of $1235 every few months when their poor workmanship causes the need for them to come out and redo the job. *UPDATE: while Precision Garage Door refused to take responsibility for their shotty work, claiming it would be another $1235 to fix it, we had a local company come out and service who concluded it was indeed installed wrong with loose operator bracket which would have caused it to hop off its track. They have replaced the part, mounted and balanced the door for $175. To the BBB next.

Precision was absolutely amazing. We had a car stolen out of our driveway and needed to replace all of our openers on the morning of the Fourth of July. From the time we called to schedule the appointment til the time the solution was finished was maybe two hours max. Unbelievable response time and Tyler Cunningham is amazing.
