I ordered windows from Andy of gulf coast windows on April 4th, 2024. I am replacing 11 windows on back of home with 9 windows including a 3 lite slider. David Flores the installer left msg that windows were in and call him to set appointment for install. I called him and went over order with him to make sure order was complete. Order was short one window. David said he would check on window to see what happened. I did not hear from him, so I called him back. He said person who orders was on vacation and would be back the next day and would call me. Over a week passed without hearing from anyone. I called David again and he gave me the office ph# and told me to talk to Anthony who does the ordering. I called and a guy named Steven answered the phone and I asked for Anthony and this clown Steven said he would give me Lee and that Anthony was too important to talk!! I wish I had read all the bad reviews before I ordered from Gulf Coast Windows. Once they have your down payment and contract there is no more customer service. They finally told that the missing window would be in on July 11th. After they install windows I will update review. I hope they will do better then they have done so far!!

I needed to have all my windows replaced with impact resistant type. I called GCW and they sent out the sales rep. Bobby Sommerville on Sept 16, 2022. After discussing my requirements we agreed on a cost of $38,000.00. He measured all the windows and told me there was a six week backlog until my windows would be ready. I paid the $11,400 down payment. Three months later they were ready and the crew arrived to install the windows. Upon arriving at my house they ran off the driveway with the trailer knocking down my markers and putting a tire rut on my lawn. They never mentioned it. The crew worked very quickly on the installation. On Friday they told me they were finished and they would return to install one of the windows that had not been built correctly. I withheld $300.00 until the job was finished. After they left I did a quick look around and found that one of the windows did not have all of the trim work installed. I called and was told that it would be corrected with they returned with the correct window. When all the window were completed I asked about the Texas Windstorm Certificate and was told that another person would be performing that inspection. After waiting for three weeks I called again and was told the inspector would be coming for the inspection. He arrived and looked at all aspects of the installation. He left two of the upper window down and blowing rain wet the curtain in the room. I have called twice to inquire about the TWS certificate with no results. So, here we are two years later at the start of hurricane season and no insurance because no certificate. I used Gulf Coast Window because I thought they were a one stop shop and had a good reputation. They apparently were contractor that are not under their control. So, my window are great, but the service not so much.

RUDE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I tried to call MULTIPLE times to transfer the warranty after purchasing my home and the warranty person never returned my calls. No one told me I only had 30 days. First call was about 20 days after purchase. Life got busy and I forgot to call back until a month later, again I was told someone would call me back. Never received a return call. Called again and asked for the warranty person by name, he was at lunch and would call me back. Of course, no return call so called again today and was told he is not the warranty person anymore. The person I spoke with said there weren’t any notes in the file referencing my calls so I never called and I am lying. Since there were no notes there is no way I called so they will not transfer the warranty. They obviously didn’t want to transfer the warranty. She was very rude.

I am a general contractor and work throughout Houston. I spoke to two different people and was just trying to find out if they provided a window of a very specific type. The first person had no clue and transferred me to the service side. The woman who answered wouldn’t even let me complete a sentence and then proceeded to hang up me when she determined that I might be ordering less than three windows. I still didn’t get my questions answered. Unbelievable. Can’t believe they get BBB awards with this kind of service. Shocking.

Anthony was very patient and helpful, and so was Felipe the service technician. Highly recommended, they are nice, honest and genuinely want to help.

They do not honor their lifetime warranty. In fact the lady was so incredibly rude. She used profanity against me when I asking about why they won’t honor there lifetime warranty. I will find someone else. Last time I had a window issue all they asked was the deductible and no problems. The manager was incredibly rude. DO NOT USE.

Placed my order in April and was told end of June install,,18 window install postponed because of on e damaged so install delayed till end of July and told today install will be delayed another month for another damaged window.Impossible to speak with representative locally always gets routed to a call center

We had an overall great experience with Gulf Coast Windows. The salesman was very helpful and informative without being pushy whatsoever. The window installation was timely, clean, and very professional. I will definitely be using Gulf Coast again in the future and will recommend them to friends and family.
