If you are looking for good service, quick response and helpful people, you might want to call somewhere else. Made an appointment, they canceled it without calling, rescheduled two more times and weren’t particularly upset when I said I would be calling someone else. Must have too much business to care for returning clients.

Amazing service with great technicians! Couldn’t be happier with using them and will definitely recommend to my fellow neighbors! On time and very knowledgeable in what they do. Explained everything in detail so that I could have full understanding. Impressed with overall professionalism and communication and willingness to work with me! Not sure what happened since Dan retired but this establishment has definitely lost my business. Went in this week to buy a remote for my garage door since I had purchased one there previously. Now instead of being able to buy one over the counter as previously stated, I am told that they would have to dispatch a technician to my home so that they can “program” the remote. Programming consists of setting dip switches in the controller. I don’t need a company fleecing my wallet to set a series of switches. It’s unfortunate that apparently the new proprietor has prioritized greed over customer service and satisfaction.

Unfortunately this is no longer the Dan’s Garage Door Service we all knew and loved. Everyone deserves to retire and good for Dan but the new company is running his good name into the ground. They scheduled and tried to cancel twice in the same week with no consideration for the customer’s time. Complained the 2nd time and they “made it work”. Was charged 3xs what Dan normally would charge and card fees at 6%…never paid fees with the old Dan. Of course they “waived” the motor service fee and literally did nothing to the motor other than to read the date it was installed. Garage door may not be completely fixed because they recommend to come back and charge me for more work that I’m not sure that I really need to have done. What a sad day it was. On the hunt for a good garage door repair service in the area. Enjoy your retirement Dan and don’t look back!!!

DO NOT use these people. It’s nots Dan’s anymore and ran through some call center for all I can tell. Had an appointment window of 9AM to 1 PM and they called at 12:30 to let me know they just weren’t coming. Not late, just not coming. Planned my day around this appointment, but they said “That’s why we call to let you know when we are coming so you don’t have to plan your day around the appointment.” So technically yes, I could have done other things within a 20 minute radius of my house. But that’s all I could have done because I would want to be close enough to get home so not to waste the technician’s time. This company does not feel the same way. The make their promises and lock up the customers valuable time for their chance to take your money. The experience was frustrating, but more common in the service industry now. The communication and the scripted apology, while being flagrantly unapologetic at the same time, was a bit more than I can take. Pay a little extra for a company who can manage their work load and follow through with their end of the deal.

They were able to come out the next day and fixed things up for a reasonable price. The technician went out of his way to explain what went wrong, how to prevent it in the future, and how to check my other garage door for the same issue. Hats off to the owner. He is making great hiring decisions and is paying for enough staff to provide next-day service.

We had a spring break at night and Dan’s was able to come out the very next morning. Very friendly and did a great job for a reasonable price. Thanks for helping us out!

Excellent work, on time, professional, answered any questions. Technicians name was Jon.On a 1-10 rating with 10 outstanding, I would give him a 12.8!!! Great work and cleaned area spotlessly. An asset to the company and keep up the good work!! Thank you

Dan seemed like a very open man and polite. But the elder lady was very short and stand offish. Sad that such miserable people ruin the atmosphere in such a great looking business

Called with a broken door spring, service tech was there within a hour and us up and going a half hour later. Great Mom and Pop company!
