We replaced 37 Weathervane windows in our home. This was a complete tear out project. Completely taking out the old windows and installing new windows in the rough opening We chose Goldfinch Bros because of 1) Their history being in business since 1892 and being a large contractor 2) Marvin wood clad Ultimate casement windows 3) installation experience The Marvin windows are beautiful and the best built wood clad window on the market.Their traditional interior styling is ummatched. Their operating hardware is the best on the market The real win was the Goldfinch installation crew. They are a very experieced and competent crew. They finished this large project in 8 business days. They installed a custom trim on the windows and did an excellent job Choosing Goldfinch Brrothers was a great move.They are excellent with residential replacement windows with exceptional installation crews

Goldfinch: Serving Everett for 130+ years? How I ask? They will not return a message for residential window replacement. I’ve tried for 2 months. They don’t answer phone calls or return emails. I’ve lived in Everett my whole life and hoped to support a local business with my $$$$. Unfortunately, this local business is not in the business of customer service. Zero chance you survive other 130 months with this customer service.

I was recommended by Dunn Lumber because Goldfinch Brothers also install and with Dunn you have to find a contractor. I made an appointment, met with someone and was supposed to receive a quote. There was no follow up, no quote sent. I met with them in July and its now August. Not good business

I had a lot of stress about transporting the glass panes that I purchased, travelling for an hour to get home. I had concocted a support system for my truck and was just not real confident about the transport aspect. Anthony(?) and Vinney were Amazingly helpful and extremely encouraging about my setup. Those guys just made my week, Thanks Guys! I have to mention Brooklyn and Dustin who helped me thru the whole process.Great staff to work with.

I’m guessing they don’t really want to do residential work. I’ve tried them 3 time in the last couple of years. Always the same recording for residential, leave a message and we will call you back. First time no call back (2 years ago) Second time a call back a week later (1 year ago) Third time no call back (1 week ago) I will admit the third time I left a message saying that if it takes a week to return my call then don’t bother. I’m guessing they didn’t want to bother.

Ordered windows and doors for two buildings (one project) and was quoted 6-8 week lead time. They notify windows are in but doors are running late. Delivery happens but only part of them are delivered. Told the rest are in the warehouse. Turns out they aren’t in the warehouse and haven’t been ordered. The color that matches the first set of windows is also no longer available. Doors come but one doesn’t have it’s sidelight. Has to be remade and glass installed by Goldfinch. Second set of windows finally come SIX MONTHS AFTER ORDERING. They did give a small customer credit. The worst window order debacle ever (and there have been a few). Looks like most of the good reviews are older. One star because we did eventually get the windows (half of which were a different color).
