I bought 2 new garage doors in the fall of 2023, and have been very pleased with the doors, and the installation. I have used them in the past for garage door repair and have always been happy with their work. I would use them again.

From the perspective of a commercial property owner looking for commercial door service, would not recommend Action Door. Clients might get swayed towards Action since they are more commercialized and hence can respond to a service call/ estimate way faster than a mom and pop shop. But the benefits of speed of initial response ends there. Expect to project manage the service beginning to end and post service completion. Action is quick to take initial deposit but unable to provide status of order or scheduling install without badgering. One can order a commercial door from big box retailer delivered in 7 days while it took Action 60 days from when they process payment to install completion. This illustrates that if you are a property owner and need speedy replacement, take into consideration their extended order fulfillment . The installation was completed quickly which is positive at first. But then you realized that the installer 1) missed an invoice item, 2) missed caulking, 3) left huge gaps when shimmed and 4) broke the door header. 2 and 3 are easily addressed but it still took 27 days for 1,2, and 3 to get fixed. Those are mainly cosmetic fixes but the client should not see that since it leads them to presume low quality installation. Action never addressed item 4 and deferred responsibility or acknowledgment when this can be a severe structural issue. This is only a review for their commercial door service but assess the reviews/feedback from their other services to help you decide on Action Door and Window for your needs.

We called Action Door for garage door & gate opener diagnosis. Kat was very helpful and reassured us that her guy could diagnose what the issue was with the gate (ie: motor or wires etc) since the flashing light indicated obstruction, but there was none. The tech showed up and asked to see the manual. He then proceeded to call Tech Support (on my dime @ $130+ dollars an hour) Tech Supports answer to the diagnosis was “It might be a motor” The tech didn’t know what was wrong or how to diagnose it and Tech Support couldn’t either. The charge for this was $441.00. Earlier in this week the office called to get our email address to send us a quote, when asked what for we were told for a new motor and if that don’t work then a new opener. Fast forward to today when we still haven’t gotten an email with a quote for anything, our gate, that we go through every day still isn’t working, we call them back. Kat doesn’t have a solution for this and puts us through to one of the owners. She picks up and explained that what they did was perfectly acceptable. I am not sure how this is acceptable customer service or tech service. The tech was good at what he did for the garage door but the gate was clearly beyond his knowledge. It’s not his fault he didn’t know about it or what to do, but they shouldn’t have sent him if he didn’t know about gate openers. Do you research people, we usually do and this time we called the big name that popped up first. Our mistake.

My husband and I recently had a new front entry door and storm door installed in our condo. Action door did an incredible job! We could not be more pleased with the workers, the doors and the cost! Thank you Action Door team!!!

I wouldn’t hire this company to install a dog door, forget about a garage door. Instead of hiring their own installers they subcontract the work. Awful experience.

Horrible experience. They came out and did a service on a garage door in October. Same problem in December not even 2 month . They claim it’s pass the 30 days warranty. I think it’s done on purpose for them to come back for another service call . It’s a shame ! Don’t recommend them for my enemies.

My husband needed three quotes for an accident that happened. So my son called three companies. When another company showed up at the same time as action door. The guy from action door said well since the other company had their own scissor lift then they can do the job. action door did not bring a scissor lift. The owner of action door called and asked why did you call another company because it cost him money to send his guys out. My son said we needed three quotes for the insurance company and your guys got mad because we called someone else so they left .
