I was given an appointment for 3pm to receive a quote. No one came or called. I called at 3:45pm to see what the status was of my appointment. They apologized and said the tech got got “caught up” and could we reschedule for the following morning. Was given a new appointment for 9:30am the next day. Once the technician came I was given a quote for $94. He removed the window pice took it to the shop and that’s when the lies started. They called and told my mother and told her the total would be $240. They said it was double pane glass, something about a spacer being broken and the shade in the window etc. That’s when I called to inquire about the price difference. Instantly the person who answered the phone (Patty/Pattie) was very defensive and began to lie on myself and my mother. She told me that THEY called my mother the day before to reschedule when nobody showed up. When clearly we called them to see what was going on, because we had been waiting for 45 min with no call or anything from anyone. This company is VERY unprofessional and rude! I don’t care how long you have been in business, you need to know how to treat your customers and have some type of customer service. Also, I went to another glass company on the area who got the job done for 1/2 the price these people were trying to charge.

The back window in our truck was leaking, After it was replaced last year by Universal Auto Glass. We brought the truck here Because The other glass place doesn’t stand by there work. Billy took his hand and pushed on the back window and it basically fell out That says a lot about the work from the other glass shop! My window was fixed at an excellent price, And I would highly recommended this place to any one that wants a professional job done at a great price. By people that actually stand by there work!

I called last week to get a quote and I was told $20 something odd dollars. Then I get here and they want to talk about labor fees. So it goes from just over $20 to over $40. I have an autistic spectrum disorder and to come in expecting one price and to expect getting this glass done completely threw me for a loop and caused me to have a massive anxiety attack. Also they want to claim that there’s some sort of legality behind anything pertaining to animals has to have tempered glass and no law like that exists. They want to charge a $10 cutting fee to every single piece of glass that you purchase. I’ve gotten a few pieces of glass cut at the old location and they’ve never charged me “cutting fees”. So to get two pieces cut that are like 13 in 1/4 by 17in and 3/4 they want $20 just to cut that glass for me. This has never been the case before. Scoring two pieces of glass and snapping it off is not $20 worth of labor. Apparently their business practices have changed with the new location. I don’t wanna give them 1 start they’ve done great work for me but the anxiety attack I having the 1 start feels warranted.

Great local company that does excellent work with fair pricing. Hi-Tech Glass doesn’t over charge you like the other guys in a time of need. Billy is very personable and also his staff. I highly recommend Hi-Tech Glass.
