I sell building materials for a living, and was invited to Windsor to see how the operation and construction of the product is done. I have to say that Jim Erbes was a great host and we got to see just how hands on intensive the managing process is. The quality control and attention to detail from the construction to testing the finished product. Note: edited for correcting Jim’s last name. There were several others who led us on tours and they also did a great job providing information and insight.

Two winters in a row, wet and frozen windows in a brand new home. I’ve owned many homes, two of them being brand new, and this is my first and last experience with Windsor. I feel like I was completely laughed at when I inquired about this. One of my windows cracked and had to be replaced. Thankfully the local vendor took care of it. Now again, ice on the windows. The humidity is at 23% in the house to attempt to help with this, however we are still having the issue. I’ve now talked to multiple neighbors and they are not having this issue and do not have Windsor Windows. The windows only ice where they move, so it appears the seals are poor. Very frustrating but looks like we’ll be working to find a solution that does not involve the extremely poor support at Windsor . I called and spoke to a older woman, who tried to explain everything away.. The interesting part was how defensive she was, as if this is not a new issue and she was sick of hearing about it. Adding to the review 1/1/2022. Last year a Windsor rep came out to the house and replaced the locking mechanism on all of the windows; very nice guy. With the recent cold weather the windows are doing the same thing as they did prior. The issue is this moisture drips down to the sill and is causing damage. The obvious issue (to me) is the seal between the windows allowing extremely cold air to flow in. I’ve been to other homes during this same weather and they’ve no issues. It’s obvious the issue is the seal. The home humidity is sitting at 32% right now. 2023 same issues throughout the year. 2024 we continue to ice up on every sash window in the house. The “locking mechanism” replaces that we’re don’t did not help at all. The issue is the seal and always has been, and I’ve shared this after multiple calls. Windsor has not take. This concern seriously even though these window concerns were addressed early on after the home was built. What I’ve explained time and time again is that the neighboring homes in this development also have these same windows and when I’ve shown my issues to these neighbors with the same windows they are shocked. The windows or seals are defective somehow, but I’m unable to get anyone to take it seriously.

Update to my review from one month ago- took me numerous emails chasing mathew wells to get an answer on our warranty issues. After 2 months of emails ( mainly me following up with him and him making excuses of why he never emailed back). Last Thursday he emailed me stating that they will finally place an order on the bowed panel (DEC 1 2023 and door still has NOT been replaced) . This should have been done early 2023 when mike Rollier came to our house and verified the issue. We have been told since September the panel was ordered ( all lies) Also during this time we allowed the supplier to try to fix some of the issues and they look far worst then before. Stay far far away from Windsor windows. They don’t stand by their product and Mathew well won’t return a phone call or hardly responds to emails. The warranty is useless !! we are at almost 2 years from delivery and NO PRODUCT has been replaced- we still have a bowed door, a window with a huge scratch and NOW all our floor to ceiling windows have started to show lines down the middle ( been told due to the roller press) …over $100,000 spent on GARBAGE!!! stay far far away from Windsor windows!!

Order Windsor vinyl product. The windows warped and shrunk. Windsor refused to warranty the product Ed and offered 20% discount to re order.

We purchased doors a& windows summer 2021 from Windsor Windows. They arrived February 2022, every single door and window had an issue. Door bowed, 2 windows bowed, missing 4 windows, screens missing, then the cosmetic issues ( caulking on windows, joints missing caulking , paint missing on windows) . January mike rollier from master grain came out, received email from the company that sells the windows. Mike solution for the bowed door – “ wait a year” he visited our property 11 months and 3 days from the door arriving. Is 3 weeks going to make a difference to the bowed door . No mention on solution for the bowed windows, Mike wanted us to submit a quote for caulking removal. We spent over a hundred thousand on these low quality windows. Try calling the company, not one person will call you back or follow up on an item. We called over 20 times to get touch up paint for the windows since half of the windows aren’t even fully painted…That took 10 months for them to action sending even the correction paint. Anyone reading reviews stay away from this company. Worst purchase we made on our custom home

Order for 36 windows for a custom home keeps getting delayed (2+ months), shipped partial order, really poor customer service. Be careful.

Year after year, these windows leak air, have excessive condensation even with air blowing on the windows, and of course ice forming. Windsor did send a tech out last year to replace the metal locks with plastic, however here again we have ice and water everywhere. I explained I was concerned about the windows sealing correctly, but nothing was changed. I chose to trust them, however I am experiencing the exact same issue as I had prior to the locking mechanism being changed to plastic. There has been no improvement whatsoever. With a nearly brand new house, we are now exploring replacing every window. Thanks for such great service and support. Also, trying to call their main office today, no answer.
