We had a good experience with the sales rep Craig. We had some concerns about bad reviews we had read, but he assured us they backed up their work and should have no problems. He was very thorough and clear in explaining the windows and work to be done. The installer, Frank was very detailed and meticulous in his work. He installed the three windows in one day. He cleaned out the area where the work was done, removing the old windows. He even finished the trim on two small windows installed by another company. We were not charged. We are extremely happy over the installation and quality of work. The windows have a lifetime warranty for any glass breakage.

I am a retired general contractor who did a lot of things related to home repairs, building etc. But I did not do window retrofits, especially with vinyl siding. So when it came time to replace 3 of my own windows, I contacted Window World during the Buffalo Home Show. Kristine was very pleasant when she came to give me the estimate. I signed the contract and gave a deposit. I waited, and waited and waited for an employee to come take final measurements. I called them, had to leave a message of which they never returned. I call back again, spoke to an employee who stated the person I need to speak with “just left the office” so I asked that he call me back. Never got a call back. I texted Kristine who said she would follow up. And she did. Final measurements made. That when I decided to see what kind of reviews they get. I was nervous as I cannot afford to lose my deposit should they never come back. I finally got a call from them stating that they can schedule the installation. I was pleased but again nervous as to “who” they were going to send. To my surprise, the installers, Christian and Cory were very professional, cleaned up after the job and would ask me if I approved of their method since my house is older and there were a few issues that came up. They did a very professional job. So, in short, this company may not have the best customer service, but they did come through! I guess since I have been in the customer service industry for so many years, I expected a little bit more from them.

I would give Window World zero stars if it was available. We received an estimate for a window, wanted to go forward. Was told Skip would contact us by end of day, never heard from him. Called him the next morning, said he would meet with us at 4:00, no call, no show. Called Window World for a new sales person, we were never contacted again. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Not happy with service to repair problem. Took 8 months for repair and today I opened my window and it won’t close. Original repair was for mold inside window. Now its a latch problem. Would never use again

I had Window World of Buffalo replace my windows and a glass slider door at my house and I have a large 3,000+ square feet house with a lot of windows. Pre covid they installed half my windows and a slider door with no issues. The windows installed post covid are very drafty and I have a large picture window that had to be replaced a month after installation due to a seal loss. I have water pouring through that window now and the caulk job is terrible. Months of scheduling issues and no subcontractor oversight, I went to the competition to get that window replaced for a third time that will be installed in May. These windows and slider door were over $20k however I wish I spent more for better quality windows and install.

Window World Buffalo is the worse ever. They sub contract my installations to a group of misfits that made a big mess. Had to watch every aspect of the install especially the screens. Three windows were installed in a damaged state that their service department had to fix months later. So if you use them expect problems. Now for the best, they say they have a life time warranty – that’s not 100 percent true. Had a small issue with a window and they insisted on a $50 fee for a 1 minute correct. Bottom line they may be a bit cheaper up front – but they will nickel and dime you with problems. Do yourself a favor and move on.

Windows operate so that’s a plus. Took WW a year to finally get us the correct window after trying to charge for their screw up. As you can see in the picture the safety lock was installed on the wrong side during production… window world tried charging us a $50 fee to fix this originally. The windows are cheap, I guess you get what you get?
