From start to finish this has been nothing but a positive experience and everything was handled to a level which exceeded our expectations! Daniel did all that we expected and more. Pros: The service is timely. The windows insulate well. Cons: (1) Needed a window replaced after installation because it was blemished and a door screen because it did not slide correctly. This required additional scheduling. Would have appreciated better quality control. Expect to require an additional amount of time to replace defective materials. (2) The installer broke a lamp shade and told me the company will replace. I called multiple time to have the item replaced but they never did. Expect the company to not replace personal items the installer may break.

In 2006, Newman Windows and Doors in Carlsbad replaced most of our windows and all of our sliding glass doors. Because of the recent wind-driven rain, two of the doors started to leak so we called Newman in Carlsbad for help. Irving and Josh were dispatched to test and repair the doors. They identified the problem in each door, fixed both, and replaced the mesh in a screen door that I tried to walk through—all of this was covered under their warranty–I was pleasantly surprised. Josh and Irving were on time, and knowledgeable, kept their work area clean, and treated me as a valued customer. I can’t remember the last time I received this level of customer support.

We have had all our windows replaced by Newman over several years and have always appreciated their customer care and quality service. The Milgard warranty for any repairs has worked well. We especially appreciated when they came out to do a small garden window repair when we remodeled our kitchen.They are always on time with consultations or installations. I enjoy working with Greg and Ashley. We just had the last two windows redone and Aaron and Zach did a great job. They were courteous and professional. Highly recommend Newman for a couple of windows or a whole-house makeover.

After an initial measurement for my exterior door, have had very poor service. I have contacted the company representative to inquire as to a follow up, but have not had any luck. I then contacted the company office, and asked to have a new representative, as Darren was not following up on estimates. They had Darren reach back out to me and he said he was sorry, and would get things moving forward. He told me he would have an estimate for me, as soon as he got home. Several more days went by and no call. He initially placed blame on an error of the email address, and then on a typo. After a third time without a follow-up I have to conclude that they don’t need my business.
