Needed springs replaced and new seal on double wide garage door. Called first thing in the morning, secured a same day appointment. Pricing was explained during call. No surprises there. Kerry arrived in appointment window and got right to work. Nice hustle. About as smooth a service appointment as we’ve ever experienced.

Tech arrived right at beginning of time slot. Fixed my broken spring by replacing the pair. Tuned up the chain, greased tracks, etc. Now runs smoother and quieter than before. All done in about an hour at a fair price. Thanks much.

I woke up to a garage door with broken springs that would not open this morning. Someone recommended I call Geis and they did not disappoint. Kerry arrived at my home in under a hour and fixed the broken springs quickly. He was an absolute pleasure to speak with and provided excellent customer service. He also noticed my front door wasn’t closing properly and took a few minutes of his time to fix it for me. I would highly recommend Geis for any garage door service or repair. Last Saturday I called Geis Garage door emergency repair. I’m not sure what they charged me because I have yet to receive an invoice or receipt. It’s been 7 days! Today as I returned home my garage door would not close. Mind you a Geis repairman claims he repaired my door with new springs etc one week ago today. I called and spoke with Marcy at Geis. She said she was the owner At first she was very nice. I explained the problem with my door and told her Geis was at my home last Saturday. She asked my name. Once I gave her my name he?whole attitude changed! She stated “oh you are the one that gave the nasty review”. I said yes I wrote a review. She then said they do not do repairs on weekends. I told her my repair was done on the weekend. Then I said I’ve just paid them $500.00 or $700.00 and I don’t know which because I have not received a receipt yet and it has been 7days. Marcy then said if I wanted someone to come out and fix my door then I BETTER remove the nasty review. I mentioned that there is a warranty on the repair. She stated she didn’t care that she would not have my door repaired unless I removed the post. I informed her that I need my garage door fixed. She stated not until I remove the post. I told her that if my garage has to remain open and if any of my property is stolen I would sue Geis. She said “so what”. I then also told her I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. She stated that she is somehow connected to the BBB. I told her then she should know better. She again told me she would send someone put of I remove the post. I told her no! That I have spent $500. to $700. and I have a warranty. She then stated that she would have to pay someone “hundreds’ off dollars to come out today. I reminded Marcy that I paid Geis hundreds of dollars to have someone come out last weekend! She stated that the job must have been done well because I had been using the garage for a week. I told her that I am a disabled 67 year old woman and I have not been using the garage door all week. I told her to fix my door or return my money! She said “bye” and hung up. A few minutes later she called me back and said a repair person was on the way. A guy came and I guess fixed my garage door. He said the cables were very loose. I haven’t checked it yet because like I said I am disabled and have difficulty with mobility. It is a shame that I paid $500 to $700.? to Geis to be treated the way Marcy the owner treated me. Maybe she has no respect for the elderly, the disabled or people of color. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU CALL GEIS! Marcy stated that she was concerned that I would “write another nasty review”. Marcy it is not nasty when it is the truth!

Geis did an excellent job on our door. Jim came out and gave us some good advice on what we really needed in a door. It was installed shortly thereafter and we love it.

While backing out of my garage I had accidentally press my garage door opener button when I was lifting my sun visor up. The roller on the bottom panel came off the track and the panel had slight damage. I called Geis at around 6:00 PM and to my surprise a receptionist answered my call. She said she could get a technician out the next day. The technician (Mike) was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to repair the damaged panel to almost new. I had planned on having the panel replaced but Mike recommended not to and that is was running as new. Mike saved me $750 by not having to replace the panel. This has been the third time using Geis and highly recommend them! Thank you Mike and Geis, you have earned my business for life!
