Recently we had 32 single pane glass windows replaced by double pane windows. John Jacques of Green City Window and Door gave us a good bid and his crew proceeded to replace all the windows in a 2 day period. In addition to enhancing our view, the whole house feels markedly warmer. Highly recommended!

A++, 1000% would recommend Green City Windows & Door for all your exterior remodeling needs! When I contacted Green City, owner John Jacques came out quickly to discuss the project and gather what he needed to provide an estimate. John was more than understanding (and supportive!) throughout the estimate process. John provided an extremely competitive, itemized estimate which allowed me to easily compare against the multiple bids I had received. From my experience during this process, not every company was as transparent as John and Green City. A good “wrench” thrown into this process was that Green City does it all! Once we started discussing replacing our siding, we realized that our 45 year old home had additional exterior needs. As a result, we went back and forth a few times changing the scope of work. In the end, we replaced our old aluminum siding with James Hardie ColorPlus fiber cement siding, but we also decided to go for the BIG glow up and added on soffits, fascia, new gutters/downspouts and thicker/more modern barge boards on the gables of the house. In addition, we also got a new front entry door, a new side door to our garage and a new garage door. A major plus (for me) was that we were able to get ALL of this done through Green City! Once the materials were in stock, John contacted me to schedule the project start date. All the big stuff was done in about a week, the gutters and downspouts took a little longer. Like any project there were a couple of little things that I noticed which needed to be corrected, and John personally took care of everything on my punch list. It’s clear that he cares about his homeowners, his crews and making sure that the work is done right. He would visit the worksite every day to check in with his crew and make sure things were humming along. He checked in with me often via text and his crews respected the fact that we have dogs that needed to get outside to go potty throughout the day. I would not hesitate to use Green City again for future projects and have already started picking John’s brain about new front porch ideas… because now that my siding and doors are so beautiful, it highlights how ugly the old porch is. The good news is that Green City also builds decks and porches too! Our homes are one of our largest investments, and I can say without a doubt that we made the right decision to trust Green City Door & Window with our exterior renovation.

We’ve used John’s crew before for window replacement so there was never a doubt who to call when we needed more done. As before, Green City came through admirably. We’d recommend them to anyone and will certainly call John again should we need more work done!

Had 10 windows and 2 doors replaced in and older 1920s home. John took extra care when installing the doors as the old frames and doors needed a lot of work due to wear and tear over the years. Everything turned out great and looks amazing!
