Misleading Diagnosis and Unprofessional Conduct My experience with Rainbow Garage Door Services was highly disappointing. When my garage door wouldn’t open, they arrived and quickly glanced at the motor, which was 14 feet in the air, in the dark, using only a flashlight. The service tech didn’t even have a ladder with him. Without even touching the motor or door, they immediately concluded that I needed a new motor, quoting an exorbitant $2,500 for the replacement. Doubting their diagnosis, I sought a second opinion. The second technician discovered that the motor was perfectly fine; it simply needed to be reset and the chain reattached. This was a straightforward fix that cost significantly less than what Rainbow Garage Door Services had proposed. I’m extremely dissatisfied with Rainbow Garage Door Services’ unprofessional conduct and misleading diagnosis based on a superficial assessment. I caution others to approach their recommendations with skepticism and to seek multiple opinions before agreeing to any major repairs with this company.

Our garage door opened wasn’t working the other day. I called the company to see if someone could come out and take a look at it and Nati showed up that same day. After a quick look at the opener it was determined that it was shot, he even explained the issue – even smelt the engine that was burning. He suggested replacing the opener as fixing the old one would result in it breaking again (it was very old). I was thinking that I would have to schedule for him to come back out again, but he had a new opener already in his van and was able to replace it right then. Amazing service!
