My review focuses on Pella’s superb technician, Christopher McKinley, who not only solved the problem that had me incredibly frustrated with Pella’s parts and service, but also showed me where to look for my sliding glass door’s part number/ date and a number of features that were never explained to me originally. I had been struggling with the getting resolution to my problem and he helped so much!

We had a window that had been installed upside down (which wasn’t noticed for half a year until we bought the house). Once I placed the work order they were fast to fix it. We have also had issues with the vinyl trim that keeps bubbling up in heat, those will be fixed once the replacement parts are in. Three of the screens didn’t have handles and we are waiting for those replacements. T. J. from Pella came to see which size screens we need and he was amazing! He fixed our door to the balcony even though it wasn’t a Pella door but just poorly installed door by the builder! I would love to give T. J five stars, however Pella as a product does not deserve it. On my request, T. J. taught me how to clean low e- windows as it has been made just about as difficult as can be. The whole lower part of the window needs to be removed while the upper section just stays put. Also I was told to be careful about the film (that keeps the sun rays out) as it is on the surface (!) of the window and can be destroyed by regular window cleaners! If I had extra cash, I would get rid of these windows ASAP.
