I was left with significant water damage by a washing machine repair technician late in the afternoon on a Friday. After contacting the tech and the company he worked for to have him come back and clean up the water, it was made clear to me that he was not coming back. It was 4pm on Friday and I was in a panic. I called ServPro. Within 90 minutes there was two gentleman at my door. Chris and Daniel (Springdale, AR location) showed up and spent two hours cleaning up the water and removing the damaged baseboards and carpet padding. They also treated those areas to ensure that mold growth would be inhibited. They set me up with fans and a dehumidifier in the four rooms that were damaged. Both gentleman were very kind, professional and sympathetic to my situation. Shortly before they were finished, one of the company estimators (Steven W.) stopped by to talk with me. I provided him the claim number for my insurance and he explained how things would be done going forward including working directly with my provider. I also received a phone call from another estimator to let me know how the entire process would go. From my initial desperation call to the each of the service men, I was very impressed with ServPro up to this point and then the bottom fell out. I asked for an itemized bill from Steven from day one. He said he would get one to me. Never got one. I was then dealing with Josh after that for the mitigation portion of things and asked him for one and never got one. I have called two additional times to ask for one and have not received one. Their method of billing is simply to tell you what you owe without itemizing anything. This is not acceptable. As of today, the total they have billed us is close to $9000 with NO ITEMIZATION. Not only is that unprofessional, this is a charge for one and a half closets, a small hallway and 1/4 of a bedroom. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. They also contracted a carpet cleaner to finish the job in my home and he no showed two times and was 90 minutes late the day he finally did show up with no call that he would be late. What a racket that they bill you and expect you to pay without knowing the breakdown of costs AND the amount of the charges is OFF THE CHARTS WAY TOO MUCH for the services. I cannot imagine what people have to pay for an entire house!! Or is this how they rob the insurance companies who ultimately pay the claims? Sadly, what’s done is done. Lord willing I won’t have to use them again. I will definitely call someone else.

Brad, Gus and Michael were my water mitigation team after my house was damaged during a tornado storm. They were very professional and treated my home with the upmost respect. I highly recommend Servpro if you ever find yourself in a time of need.
