I just used this office for my basement that flooded from my sump pump failing. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant and they were always on time for any appointments. I would highly recommend this location!!!

The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. Due to the lack of concern / care that our house was treated with, we had to hire an entirely new mold remediation company and inspector to do the job properly. Proper mold removal standards were not followed at all and nothing was done to correct it, even after speaking with a Servpro manager. Prior to beginning any work, servpro is supposed to section off the work area with 5mm plastic to ensure mold spores are contained within the problem area, not spread all over the house once removal process begins. Servpro brought NO protective plastic coverings and worked in the contaminated space without clothing or shoe coverings and tracked it all over the house including carpeted areas that were not within the contaminated area. Instead set up shop in our basement and bathroom without removing/covering any furniture, absolutely NO plastic barrier protection and used air blowers/ scrubbers, etc. for days, just allowing it to circulate throughout our entire house rather than just the work area. The basement also has air intakes that circulate through the entire house, which of course was never sealed off. Layers of dust and drywall were covering furniture and carpet after Servpro stated the job was complete. This dust and debris was NEVER removed by Servpro. This step should have been done prior to using any air scrubbers or blowers. What is the point in removing mold from one area if you are going to spread it? This one of the many red flags noticed the second they began work on our house. The upstairs master bathroom was the same lack of concern for our safety. NO plastic barrier was used prior to mold removal and even went as far as to begin work without notifying us to remove toothbrushes and other personal care items from the bathroom counter. The machines were turned on, blowing directly onto our bathroom counter, contaminating all of our belongings and furnishings. We were also told that “it was OK” to continue sleeping and using bathroom while air scrubbers and blowers were running. We asked employees about these alarming concerns to which they replied “the air scrubbers will get the stuff in the air and what we missed”. Which was when we noticed the filters in the scrubbers were filthy and requested that a new one be used. The employee stated she “didn’t know if they had any new ones in the truck”, which is completely unacceptable for a mold removal company. A new filter should be included within the cost of the job. So not only did they blow the exhaust of the air scrubber on the counter, they used a dirty filter from who knows where on top of it. We asked the employee if this were her home, would she continue using the bathroom or use the personal care items in their current state, to which she said “no”. All of our personal items had to be trashed. This alone was a large expense, not to mention all the extra work we acquired because of Servepro’s subpar job. All of these concerns were also brought up to the manager Stephanie and Debbie, who did not see a problem with how things were completed, giving no regard to any of our concerns or trying to resolve them. The mold inspector came to do the final inspection stated “it was all good” to begin the restoration process; however, we still had significant reservations in doing so. After researching the proper methods, we realized how much was not done or significantly below national standards. We hired another mold inspector, who found visible mold and wet insulation that was left in the basement AND bathroom. Surface and air lab samples collected showed alarmingly high levels of mold. Another mold removal company was hired to do the job Servpro didn’t. I have sent countless emails and left numerous messages by phone. This company NEVER responds to anything

Great Customer service . Crew that came out took very good care of me an my home . The crew let me know everything that was being done and needed to be done . They let me know when they will be coming back. An they informed me of what steps to take next to get my home back in order . Thank you Servpro of Perry hall for everything.

We had a pipe crack and it had been dripping onto the sub floor in the crawl space for a few hours before we found it. Servpro came out within a few hours of us calling and got everything dried up. They were on time each day they came by to check the water readings as well as when they came to pick the equipment up. Would absolutely use them again.

Our sub pump tripped on the Friday of Halloween weekend last month, and our finished basement was sitting in 2 inches of water by the time we discovered what had happened around 9:30pm that night. We called Servpro immediately the next morning and spoke with Chris, who was very professional and great to speak with. He made sure that we had a chance to speak with our insurance company first before sending anyone out from his team to come do cleanup for us. After getting approval to move forward, Chelsea and Tony arrived within 30 minutes of Chris scheduling them for us. Chelsea explained everything about the process very thoroughly and immediately got to work with Tony. They were quick and efficient and had removed our carpet and baseboard trim in 2 hours. They were great about cleaning up after themselves and left little mess besides what would be normal in this type of situation. They also set up the industrial fans in every area they could to dry out the floor and our drywall. Chelsea and Jeff came back each day to check on the moisture levels and to see how things were coming along everyday for the next 3 days afterwards. Once their portion was done, Chelsea gave us the card of a restoration expert they work with to help us with the next steps in this process. I would absolutely call this Servpro location again in the future to use their services. We had fantastic professionalism and a great customer service experience in what was a very stressful situation.

John and his team, Jeff M, Chelsea and Corey are awesome. We had a bad experience with another company hired to mitigate water damage. We then brought in SERVPRO and they immediately came to the rescue to make things right. They are professional, respectful, and put the customer first. I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend them!!
