VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE… We recently had a big water leak in our kitchen so I started looking for a contractor. Masters of Disaster had good reviews so I called them on a Monday morning. Morgan came out later that day and inspected the damage and said she would email me the report and estimate by Wednesday at the latest. She was very personable when she was here. I thought it was odd that she didn’t go underneath the house and inspect the damage, but she said she had done this kind of estimate so many times that she didn’t need to… Knowing that people get busy, I waited until Friday and I still hadn’t received the estimate so I called. I explained the situation to the lady I spoke to and she verified my email address and said she would make sure it got sent out ASAP. The following Monday I still hadn’t received the report so I tried calling twice and got the answering machine. I left messages and also sent an email, and here we are several weeks later and they never have called me back, responded to my email, or sent the report and estimate… It’s very frustrating when you contact a company so you can start the process of getting the damage repaired, and basically get ignored after the inspection is done. It’s not like this is a really small job. The kitchen floor has a big hump in it that is easy to trip on if a person doesn’t know it’s there. The floor needs to be torn out, the cabinets need to come out and will have to be replaced, and some areas of the walls need to be repaired too. It’s unfortunate, because talking to Morgan while she was here, I thought that everything was going to get taken care of fairly quickly, but if this is how they handle customer relations before a job has been secured, I can only imagine how the communication would be during the rebuilding process, and if they would start the job and then basically disappear for weeks at a time. We’ve all heard horror stories about people that have had that happen with some companies…

The amount of experience wrapped up at Master of disasters with the professionals they have on staff is incredible. They are very quick to get you the assessment you need and provide you with whatever kind of services are required and necessary. They will not over charge, add extra work on the bill, and they are extremely professional, and understanding. Plus they will not abandon the job until it is completed.

After leak caused serious damage to our home, Masters of Disaster have been so helpful in navigating the insurance clain process, staying on top of needed repairs and really working to advocate for us and take care of restoring our home. Morgan, Drew, Tyler and Nikolay have been super helpful and responsive especially. Thank you to the Masters of Disaster team for all your work on our behalf!

We had no clue what to do when our dishwasher leaked and water flowed out under our flooring, and was dripping from the ceiling to the rooms below. But after reading some recommendations on Masters of Disaster, we gave these folks a call. They showed up the same day, and we felt like we instantly had some “friends” in the business. It’s never easy dealing with repairs while also living in one’s home, yet these guys made the very best of the situation. They were always courteous, communicated very well, and followed through with excellence. They explained how they would work with our insurance company as well, which was such a relief! All in all, the whole “disaster” is in the past now, with good memories of good people and a great outcome! Thanks to Nikolay, Travis & Lorin… also Morgan, Tyler, Dan and the rest of the crew!

Our experience with Masters of Disaster was outstanding in every way. From the beginning of our loss until the completion of our repair, we were kept current with all progress. Our questions were always answered quickly and respectfully. Workers were consistently prompt, highly skilled and polite. MOD worked directly with our insurance adjuster making life easier for us during the loss. We would never hesitate to use them again. They are a top quality company!

We used Masters of Disaster for restoration and flooring after a plumbing leak and were very happy with their efficiency and results! They also helped find the flooring we wanted at a much better price than we found on our own and worked seemlessly with our insurance provider.
