We found mold in the attic at our new house, and called certified indoor air to come out and take a look. They did a great job of assessing and documenting the problem, and making recommendations for remediation. They were able to get us on the schedule, and the team that came out was extremely professional and thorough. They documented before and after pictures and walked us through the entire process. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and told us the services we did, and didn’t need based on our situation.

I had a really great experience with this company. I had a shower leak, and then two weeks later noticed a roof leak. We had significant mold from both. Certified did a fantastic job of removing the damaged materials – including a tile shower – and killing the mold. They broke up a complex job, helped us provide documentation to the insurance company, and were super responsive to my questions and concerns. I did not expect the degree of care that everyone I interacted with at Certified Indoor Air showed. From the owner who did the initial estimate, to the office manager I talked to often throughout the work, to the two workers who came out to do it, everyone was considerate, respectful, and super professional. Dealing with this situation has been pretty overwhelming, and I really appreciated feeling like I had some allies along the way. As for the nuts and bolts: the paperwork and accounting was clear, they returned my phone calls promptly, they showed up when they said they would, they worked really hard when they were here…these folks have it together. Look, having remediation work done in your house while you’re living in it is pretty disruptive. It’s going to be hard, so prepare for that. But if you hire these folks to do it, it’ll be done right.

I am a real estate agent and use Certified Indoor Air when ever my sellers have an issue with mold in the attic space. They are professional, timely, and clean up so well you never know they were there.
