Had a very negative experience overall with this company. I’ll start with the good interactions first. We had a pipe burst just before Christmas and every company was going to take 30 days or more to come out. ARS came out within a week. This was big for us as the property is a rental home and we had renters in the house. Also, the secretary communicated very well throughout the entire process. Prompt to respond and was always courteous. Now for the not so great aspects of this company. When they did the evaluation of the damage and developed a plan for mitigation, they barely opened up any walls or ceilings. We were concerned about this and mentioned it to the guys during the process but they assured us their fans would take care of the any water present. Fast forward to the work being ‘complete’ and my contractor comes out to find mold in the ceiling and wet studs directly below where the leak occurred and the insulation was sopping wet. I contacted ARS about this and was not reached out to by the owner until 2 days later. He was very nice on the phone and said all the right things, but after speaking to him he did not seem to have any urgency to check out our home. If I owned a company and a customer expressed concerns about work completed by my company to this extent, I would want to personally see what happened. He sent a couple guys a week after we spoke and I didn’t get any follow up about whether the plan was appropriate for the job or feedback as to why the job they were supposed to do failed. This was of course the main reason to use a mitigation company and the biggest issue but there were other mishaps during the job. They removed extra tile from the master bath unexpectedly and had not discussed this with us. The first floor was glued down engineering wood and they really struggled to remove it and left lots of holes in the foundation. They also did not extend to where they marked floor to be removed and my guess is they were tired of struggling. We did not know for sure if they would remove the floor after the initial assessment and I expected them to at least discuss with is before moving forward. It probably should have been taken up by a flooring company honestly. I’m very surprised by all the positive reviews for this company given my experience with them. Hopefully this was just a fluke and they are typically good at what they do. But I really felt the need to post my experience given how poorly things were handled by ARS. After the owner responded I feel the need to post pics of the mold that grew in the ceiling after his company ‘completed their work’. I’d be defensive too if my company did such a poor job. Still surprising that an owner will stand by the job when he never set foot in the house after completion and a client expressed concerns. Be careful if you use this company.

This is my SECOND time to use ARS Mitigations for water related damage/flooding, and they exceeded my expectations yet AGAIN! This time, it was a hot water tank failure that flooded the lower level of the home. Upon calling, I spoke directly with the Owner, Rick, who handled the situation not only calmly in my state of despair, but QUICKLY by having his team out there within the hour- INCREDIBLE! They assessed the situation, removed all the baseboards and extracted the water. They then inundated the area with fans and a dehumidifier and had the place bone dry within 24 hours. Everything was communicated with me promptly, and the team could not have been more accommodating and professional. It’s obvious to me that this company takes the time to train their employees, and everyone takes responsibility for their work- rather refreshing these days! Upon putting the base molding back in place, I realized were able to save 95% of the existing molding, saving me both time and money! I honestly cannot say enough great things about this company. I wish everyone worked as well to satisfy the customer as Rick and ARS does! Well done, sir, well done!!!

ARS was my best friend on my worst day!!!! Their team cares about the customer & each other. I couldn’t have gotten through the house fire nightmare without them. ARS stands for Angel Rescue Squad!!!!

I checked out ARS (in advance of have a fire or flood in my place) and found out these guys are top notch! They take care of your stuff and make it as if the “event” never happened!

We sustained damage from a faulty HVAC drainline and called ARS on a recommendation. What a GREAT call. Rick (the owner) was all over it and came out within about 4 hours of my call, same day. And the techs that arrived stayed late into the evening making sure our home had the best shot at a full recovery. They saved everything that could be saved. I strongly, highly recommend this company.

ARS is amazing, I Hope I never have to use them again, but if my house ever floods again or has a fire, they are my first call (besides 911 of course)
