We had Johnny out for a quote on mold remediation following a water heater leak. He and his team went to work within a day or two of us approving his proposal. They came in, cleaned out and treated the affected area, set up the drying equipment, and let it do its work. A week later we have peace of mind, delivered as promised and at a fair price. As he pointed out, hope we don’t need him in the future, but if we do, he’ll get the call.

I had a toilet supply line break while we were out of town. It was a mess in our master bath. While I set fans up and shop vacuumed the water off the top of the floor. My homeowners recommended another place as a preferred provider. They had 3 stars and needless to say I wanted a better rating business. Johnny with Independent Restoration Solutions in Ardmore Alabama came out. He was as professional a guy as I’ve ever met. My wife has compromised immune system. She takes shots weekly to subdue her immune system. He and Luis were awesome much better than the green logo’d well known restoration company. I have no doubt once repairs are made it will be like it never even happened. He informed us about everything he was doing what he found and the communication couldn’t have been better. He has made me feel ok about having a minor home disaster that is very disruptive to our lives. I can not recommend IRS and specifically Johnny Lamont. He put up zippered doors to keep the mess out of the other rooms in the house. My contractor said his cuts on the walls were really good. He said a lot of cleaners look like they were drunk when they cut the drywall. I just can’t recommend him enough. If you have something that needs remediation this is who I’d call. He took the best care of my wife and I and his company has nothing but the best reputation in my mind. We did put in a dehumidifier in the crawl space and I think it will help me keep my crawl space dry and more important mold will not be able to grow. IRS (independent restoration solutions) is the best option for any home disaster you might have. Great guy to hire for remediation.

Johnny will be my first call should I need his expertise ever again. A day before a planned vacation, we had a shower pan leak that extended into a bedroom. He showed up on a Saturday and got everything squared away so that we were able to go on the vacation with peace of mind. He was more than willing to help us understand and navigate the entire situation, including the ins-and-outs of dealings with insurance and the contractor. Johnny does a great job at providing an honest, realistic assessment while also having your back and best interest at heart. Can’t ask for much more than that.

After an accidental bathroom sink flood that caused damage to the walls, vanity, and hallway floor, Johnny from Independent Restoration Services was at our door within an hour on a Saturday morning. He not only started our restoration immediately but he kindly, professionally, and patiently helped us understand what we needed to know so we could work confidently with our insurance company. His estimate for the work was fair and his advice and recommendations were priceless. He was always on time and he kept us up to date on his progress throughout the process.
