This company destroyed the artwork sent to them to be cleaned. They stripped oil paintings and prints-the giclée and varnish taking the paint color with it. They chipped the frames and poorly covered the back of the pieces with rumpled paper. I have tens of thousands of dollars destroyed. They accept no repairs no responsibility despite right before pick up and after photos. You have to seek legal representation. This company knows NOTHING about art or how to clean or restore it.

Art of Colorado did an amazing job restoring my grandmothers painting. My grandmother probably painted the piece in the 1960’s and the paint was flaking off in several areas. They were able to clean and restore the piece and it looks amazing. I imagine it looks as it did when she first painted it all those years ago. Highly recommend Art of Colorado for restoring paintings. They are excellent at communicating from the estimate through the entire restoration process. Will definitely take other pieces of art here!

I had a piece of artwork that had years of being in a home with smokers and then stuffed in a closet with no protection. Kim Kratzer cleaned it, fixed the numerous scratches and it looks like it was recently painted. I also had them frame it. I am very pleased with it and can’t say enough good things about Kim and ART of Colorado.

I inherited a painting that hung in my grandparents house for over 50 years. It had decades of grime and nicotine. After I got it back from ART, I couldn’t believe how bright and vibrant the colors were. I could only imagine that’s the way it looked when my grandparents got it. Absolutely amazing work by Kim. I can’t thank her enough.

Art of Colorado came out to my house to repair a scratch on a painting that got scratched during shipping in an unfinished crate. Kim was on time, very professional and did a great job to make that scratch invisible!! Thanks so much-I can finally hang it!

ART restored a hand built ceramic vessel that was an old family heirloom, broken into more than 10 pieces. We thought it was lost. The workmanship on the restoration is phenomenal; if anything, it looks better than ever. We are so thankful for the work that ART did, and highly recommend their services.

The only place to take damaged art in Colorado. If your beautiful art pieces have been damaged by smoke, fire, water or mold chances are they can restore them to original condition.

We had a garage fire that filled our house with smoke. Art of Colorado carefully collected our paintings and other artwork to clean at their workshop and is keeping them in storage until our home is repaired, at which time they will deliver them back. This company really cares about their customers: they communicate well and follow through on their obligations. Their digital restoration technician restored a colorized photo of my mother at age 3. It had been printed on ceramic in 1926 and had been broken, I had no idea that it was possible to restore a photo like this. In addition to getting bigger prints, one framed, I was excited to find a new print in the original beat-up leather frame. I could send the digital version along to my brothers and cousins. I am so very thankful that I found this company!
