I highly commend Andrew for his attention to detail, cleanliness and order throughout the 5 days of remediation. I came home from work to a burst pipe in my kitchen. The kitchen was flooded and water poured through the floor and destroyed my finished basement… my Man Cave!! The next morning, Brandon and his crew of 9 from ADU showed up and began work. They were very professional and Brandon made sure all my valuables were carefully wrapped, bagged, and put away safely. This has been a very traumatic experience for my wife and I and the only positive aspect was Brandons reassurance that his crew would take care of my possessions as if they were his own, and I feel that he did that. I don’t often write reviews but I was very pleased with ADU and the way Brandon handled the wet mess and left everything clean and dry…really dry! Thank you ADU and Brandon, Tom R. Hauppauge, NY

Great experience working with ADU! Professional, fast, and billed the insurance company directly (no cost to me). DEFINITELY helped file the claim and fight for a proper estimate. Without ADU, the check would have been much less.

Had a pin leak in our wall which went undetected. Only noticed after our wood floors bulged. Had a plumber in which recommended AUD. After a brief visit I was guaranteed they would handle everything with Allstate. We signed the forms and did notice a clause stating we would pay the difference of what insurance wouldn’t cover. When I questioned what might that be I was told “for upgrades or additional work”. After the inconvenience of 3 hot LOUD fans for 8 days or so and electricity going up 300 dollars that month, Allstate denied our claim stating leaks are not covered. We got stuck with a 11,000 dollar bill!! In addition to paying the plumber and another 18,000 to another contractor to put the house back together. Extremely disappointed that this company did not get insurance approval first but continued to guarantee us it’s “covered “! Be careful who you sign up with – they can say anything to get you to sign.

Repair work was just completed at my residence after a basement flood. I was impressed with initial steps with the drying process, clean up and clearing out lead by Andrew and his team. That encouraged me to continue the repair process with ADU as well. It was the right call. The estimate prepared by Patrick contained all the necessary work to restore our basement properly. The project leader, Sherman Smith made us feel very comfortable and confident that he and his crew would complete the task to our satisfaction and provided a sound plan. Throughout the repair he was very responsive to our needs and easy to communicate with. Steve and the crew removed all the debris with great effort and expediency. Hugo and Rola were a delight to have in my home. They are very experienced and completed the work with great skill, accuracy and caring. We all appreciate when work is done in our home properly but it was a pleasure to work with people who are also respectful, kind and go beyond. I can say that about all who worked here. We are quite pleased with the competency and the final result of the restoration. We plan to use this company for other work that we might have. I strongly recommend ADU to help you when you find yourself needing immediate and reliable help.

Joey & Brandon did a fantastic job in my basement! They removed Sheetrock and carpet, kept all my belongings protected, and left the room super clean. At the start of the job they walked us through what will need to be done for mold remediation and did a very professional job! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of mold remediation.
