Not a place I would recommend! I have a major black snake problem all over my property, they live under my concrete patio where there’s openings on both sides. They are alongside my house and come into my garage. After the first hour, one was caught (not shocked because I know I’ve seen 4 different ones), however after that they started going through the gaps and went to the other side. We called and stated this, and that I also saw another in my garage and wanted the attic checked (the gentleman even stated when he got more time he would come out and check my attic). After the first 2 visits I stopped receiving email updates after visits. $500 later, only 3 sticky traps were set, one snake removed, and I don’t even know if the repellent was put out. I don’t even feel confident or comfortable for my 1 year old and 3 year old to play in our fenced in yard.

The people you talk to the phone do not communicate with the people on the ground. Their call center is a national service The person/tech was supposed to call before showing up, instead just showed up. He then explained that he thought I didnt have any Moled, which was ok, but then he still put traps in. I questioned why but im not the expert. Obviously it was to try and charge me since, the traps were never moved, and at one point they didnt even show up for over a week to check the traps. They never really communicated anything. If It was clear I had no Moles any longer then why leave the traps there. So basically the guy brought his equipment over for 4 weeks then reteived it after 4 weeks. Would you pay someone who just brings equipemnt over and actually does nothing.

Horrible service experience.. it’s like I hired painters to bring all of their stuff to my house for a month then leave without painting anything and give me a bill for $1000. I had moles… Still have moles and get someone on the phone that only tells me I’m owe them money/past due. For what??? They set traps and never even moved them to try to get the mole mounds around the yard.. I can do that for 49.98 from harbor freight. Horrible experience. Why would I want to pay for something I still have an issue with. Predatory business practices I believe a little. Will not refer to ANYONE!!!!

Edited to further emphasize certain points that apparently not clear enough in the review (additions at the bottom). Where to begin? First of all, I avoid giving bad reviews at all cost, but my (surprisingly abundant) patience finally ran out. I hired plunketts (that’s their name now, looks like the company was sold) for removal of some raccoons in the attic and repair. It all started OK, they removed a few raccoons and then (without checking the attic) they did the (quite half-baked, might I add) repair (didn’t even replace the broken board, essentially they charged me over $2000 for a few screws, you could see a huge gap where the board was broken). Surprise, surprise, they trapped a raccoon inside (who would have thought after not checking the attic?). We informed them, again they did not check the attic, they just laid some traps around the house (when clearly the access point was blocked off), as you would logically expect the raccoon broke the gutter yet again. Believe it or not the nonsense doesn’t end here; they put some traps and caught an opossum, we called it in, they came and serviced the traps: they did not service the trap with the opossum (even after my wife told them multiple times that there was an opposum there .. they just said that “they checked the traps”… also, that was specifically what we told them when we called: that there was an opposum in a trap), we noticed a few days later as we smelled the stench of rotting dead opossum while working in the yard. After that we couldn’t get them to come back, it was always “we’ll go tomorrow” and then they would never show up (time after time, after time; yes, after I made work arrangements to be home for them to come by, just for them to leave me waiting … more than once). After over 2 months of this nonsense (3 if you count when I first called) I ended up having to hire a different company (and of course pay again) to fix my gutter (finally, after paying double, I have my gutter fixed, no thanks to plunketts/varment guard). Do yourself a favor and avoid this company like the plague. For what it’s worth, I had hired them when they were still not bought by plunketts and had no issues… Maybe I was unlucky this time around, but there was a clear lack of care in the service (and an unreasonable lack of communication, as they never contacted me all the times they left me waiting). Edit below: Not sure what they call multiple attempts: I called at least (this is only phone calls, not counting texts or emails) on may 24, may 31, june 7, june 12, june 27, june 30, july 3, july 5 and july 6 actually ATTEMPTING to get them to come and the response was always (absolutely no exceptions) either (a) no pickup, I left a voicemail that remained unanswered or (b) they said they were coming on some date and (in case it wasn’t clear when I said it in my original review, since apparently it wasnt clear to whomever wrote the response) DID NOT SHOW UP (no calls, no texts, no explanations, no door knocks, no doorbell rings, just no-shows… period… again, after staying home from work various times to receive them). Not sure how that translates to “multiple attempts” … If “multiple attempts” is what is documented in your system then there is some serious lack of honesty going on in the report writing and you should investigate it if you don’t want to keep getting unsatisfied customers (this may only be 1 person, but left unchecked can turn into a real issue). It is true, they did refund me about $300, of over $2000 (which is still helluva lot of money to end up right where I started … for months)… Now comes the real funny part about this: they charged me for the fascia board when they did the original “repair” which (if it was not clear from the original review) did NOT replace the fascia board… So they charged me for something they had no intention of replacing in the first place (and they would’ve actually gotten away with it if the gutter hadn’t broken again)… I was really going to let that one slide, but they had to bring it up in their response.

Was referred by a Contractor in the area and called in, only to be talked down to and disrespected by a woman answering the phone. Not a company I want to be giving business to when the first point of contact can’t manage being a decent human being.

Company no longer exists in name. AWM was acquired in November 2021 by Varment Guard. Same management and technicians though, so give us a call! We are still your local Wildlife specialist.

I had an issue with squirrels who had moved into my attic. They helped trap them and remove them, and secured any potential entryways so that they would be unable to move back in. They also repaired a damaged area of soffit. Highly recommend!

Do not hire this company if you expect professionalism and accountability — they do not deliver. I still have a rodent problem in my crawl space despite hiring them to catch/remove rodents and seal off the house. While Cody was timely and professional, their admin staff was not. Jessica is especially impolite and accusatory for issues caused by her poor scheduling. Multiple times, she sent unannounced technicians to the house during normal work hours when nobody was home. If she had made any effort to let me know in advance those visits could have been accommodated — instead she threw blame at me for not being home. She also failed twice to send a technician to confirmed appointments when I took time off work. Rebecca the “Senior Office Executive” was equally short, unapologetic, and unhelpful when she was brought in. Due to all the miscommunication, this company refused to remove the traps and dead animals and claimed my invoice was due despite not completing their contract. (They just deleted the part that said they would remove traps/animals.) What I am left with is removing the dead animals and traps myself (see photo) after paying them just over $5000 to do it. What was the actual point? They made no attempt to right the situation. No apology. No responsibility for a job not done. All this and this morning, I woke up to the sound of a rodent in my ceiling! The house is not sealed. Buyer beware.

I can’t say enough great things about Advanced Wildlife Management. Cody and the team are excellent, showed up on time, looked over the problem we were having with raccoons and put a plan together to take care of the problem. If we ever need anything in the future they will be our first call truly amazing staff and a pleasure to work with.

Cody was awesome and really worked with me to get rid of all the chipmonks in my back yard. Very helpful and professional.
