Service has gone steadily downhill over the last few years, not reliable at all. They either show up without confirming if anyone will be home to service interior, or cancel during the scheduled service window. Most recent issue was today when they called to cancel 2 hours into a 4-hour service window due to weather that is not impacting my location. Interior service at a minimum should have been done given their (faulty) weather concerns. They could have at least had the courtesy to call this morning to reschedule and not wait until 4pm. I was assured that my complaint would be shared with service manager – as has been promised before with no improvement in service. Very disappointing given the wonderful reliable service that we always received before Modern Pest was sold.

Arrived on time. It was reassuring to see an employee who had serviced my contract in the past before Bug Beaters became part of Modern Pest. He remembered where all the bait boxes were, inside and out. Took his time. Very thorough. I highly recommend Modern Pest.

Technician showed up an hour early when I wasn’t home and sprayed around the house. I have a dog and I let her out when I got home. She also has a water bowl outside around the spraying area. Not cool that this technician came early and sprayed my house without me being home. The only reason I know he came early was my neighbor had mentioned it after my dog had already been outside for about 15 minutes. When I called to complain that he came early and that I had no idea how long to wait to let the dog out, I was told to wait 2 hours! Not cool! I will never use Modern Pest Services again and I will tell all of my neighbors about this. A simple call by the technician that he was coming early would have been respectful. Even a door note, especially because they knew there was a dog a the residence.

Personnel who do site visits are great. However, no one in the business office reads their reports. Therefore for several times the site visit requests the business office to send a contract for a special job needed but NEVER have they followed through. So on the advice of my recent pest control site visitor, if again I had not received the contract from them, I should call directly which I will do today. This communication gap needs to be fixed asap..reflects badly on the company. .
