Jeff and Hector did a great job prepping and painting our house. Jeff is very easy to work with and he made sure to let us know how things were progressing throughout the project. Also appreciated that Jeff was very punctual and attentive with the job and did everything he said he would. 5/5.

Pro’s: Competitive pricing, end result was acceptable Con’s: Lack of attention to detail, minor project delays, trash left behind after project finished (prep plastic/paper left in yard, tape left on house, shirt and paint brush left on roof) and small amounts of paint on new artificial turf. Additional details: Overall, we’re mostly happy with the job that Jeff and Hector did but I would not have them come back. We were quoted $3200 for labor for our 1500 sq ft home which I found pretty competitive which is why we moved forward with Jeff. We discussed a lot of details of what work needed to be done so I wrote up a half page of details for Jeff to reference on day 1. After the first day, we had several issues where Jeff had forgotten what we had spoken about (we did another walkthrough before he started) and he acknowledged that he didn’t read my document so he had to repaint the fascia the correct color. It would be like this with many small details during the project but the larger repairs like a major stucco repair area (6”x6”) was handled very well and looks great overall. It seems like Jeff is great at bigger repairs but has issues with the minor details (holes needing to be filled, removing hooks from patio roof, getting small amounts of paint on turf, garage lights being installed not leveled, etc). Halfway through the job, I had a neighbor tell me that Jeff had left a t-shirt on our roof. I sent him a text to let him know and he responded with “k” but the t-shirt and a paintbrush was still left on our roof after he finished the project. Thankfully, we were getting a roof consultation so that company was able to retrieve it for us. It was small things like this that we had to deal with both during the painting as well as after. Again, the end result of the work is satisfactory but there were a lot of headaches along the way that could have been easily avoided if the team had been more detail-oriented and thoughtful with their work.

Jeff and Hector his trainee recently painted our house. The gave a great quote, worked us into the schedule within a few weeks and did a marvelous job. They were communicative, showed up on time and finished promptly. Jeff did multiple fixes and restores on our house, including fixing/replacing old siding on our house and patching the stucco. The facing board at the roof line was also gone over and he repaired all cracks and screwed the corners together prior to painting. The house was painted with quality Sherwin Williams semi gloss paint multiple coats. I came out looking like new. He also did the walls around our property. Jeff the owner was onsite working every day, unlike so many contractors who will hire day labor that can’t speak English and really don’t know what they are doing) NOT Jeff. His trainee speaks fluent English and did a marvelous job. In all Jeff gets a 100% recommendation from me, and will be my goto for future painting projects.

Jeff and his team at Classic Shades Painting did a great job on the exterior of our home in Gilbert. He has now completed three home exteriors in our neighborhood that have completely transformed the looks of these homes. Jeff is thorough and hard working. He will do outside repairs as needed and offers useful suggestions to the homeowner. He started the project on time and completed it on schedule. We would definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to others. Our home looks beautiful!

I highly recommend classic shades painting. I had my living room painted antique white over red and tan walls. Jeff provided 2 coats which covered perfectly. The job was meticulous, timely, and no clean up was necessary after completion. I had used classic shades for the exterior of my house and was just as pleased with the outcome. Jeff is professional, listens to instruction, and pleasant to work with. He always goes the extra mile to please his clients, even hung my clock, reconnected my TV, and moved my entertainment center back in position. You can’t go wrong with Classic Shades Painting!!!
