Travis came to replace the ceiling in my guest bathroom about a month ago. He was very easy to work with and communicated the process clearly along with how long it would take. He was spot on and I think the part that impressed me the most was that he cleaned up after he was finished. I typically try to do work around the house myself, but I will definitely use Travis again for tasks that require a more skilled set of hands and tools.

Travis at Call Dad is now my go to resource for home improvement projects that I can’t do myself. He helped me insulate my screened in porch in time for a Christmas party. He did quality work on time. He also was kind enough to share some of his equipment for a period of time to help me out. He’s reliable and does quality work. Thanks again.

I asked if he could come Friday to do some projects. He said yes and then asked if Thursday would work so I said yes. Then the week off, he texts me to see if we could push the estimate back and I said I had not asked for an estimate and he had agreed to doing the actual work. So he says he will send his nephew who’s worked for him for 2.5 years. I was hesitant but he said he guarantees the work and his nephew has been working for him and knows how to do the things I needed. So his nephew shows up, forgets to bring caulk for the shower, goes out to get it. 35 minutes later comes back, caulks the shower, then starts removal of baseboards in a different bathroom. He has to leave for the day and asks where to put the old baseboards so we tell him where the garbage bin is. He says ok and then leaves after a bit. I go to my shower first to see what the caulk looks like and it looks worse than if I had done it. I go check on the other bathroom and notice a couple new pieces of baseboard are missing so I look outside and two new baseboards are laying outside with the old baseboards that he was supposed to dispose of. I look at the bathroom and notice some damage to drywall and some black mold that he didn’t tell us about at all. Meanwhile, he had already started to install a couple pieces of the new baseboard. I texted photos to Travis and he said the caulk was garbage and he’d come back to fix it but no guarantees on when. I then showed him pictures of the baseboards that were left outside. Since then, I haven’t heard back at all. I called in a different company to finish the jobs and spent a significant amount of time searching for someone who could fix it quickly. I gave two stars because the first job Travis did for us went fine. It was a garage motor install. Will definitely not be calling them back. To do this kind of work after saying he guarantees the work and then being ghosted is not the way to do business.

“Dad” communicated well through text and notified me when he would arrive. I had a list and he worked his way through everything I needed fixed, replaced, repaired or cleaned out! I will definitely contact again for help!

I’ve had a variety of work completed from floor replacement on a front porch to replacing a fence and even plumbing work. I am always very happy with the professional quality and quick response and completion on every project. I also feel that every project has been priced competitively and fair. I would recommend Dad’s to everyone.
