We recently hired Home Improvement Express to fix a pocket door and help with some miscellaneous small projects around our house. We are extremely pleased with the work that Scott did. He was professional, efficient, and skilled. The pocket door now works perfectly and all the other small projects were handled with care and expertise. In addition, Scott completed the work on time and came in on budget!

My husband and I had a limited amount of time to have our small deck renovated. We had a number of contractors estimate the job, but Jonathan was much more detailed and thorough in the questions he asked and the information he asked for. The man he put on the job, James, was extremely thorough and careful. He kept us informed along the way. the job was completed on time slightly under estimate, and most importantly, meticulously.

We hired Jonathan and his team (Gabriel was our assigned craftsman) to add a vented hood to our kitchen as well as to extend our kitchen island with more storage and new countertops. The project required building a soffit, drywalling, painting, redoing a backsplash and counter, putting in cabinets, and ducting. We are really happy with the finished product and everything was on time and under budget! Communication was clear and quick with both Jonathan and Gabe, and they left our home very clean at the end of each work day and especially at the end of the project. We would gladly hire them again and recommend them to others.

Needed some help with some baseboard repairs and drywall repairs. They did an exceptional job and estimate was accurate to final work done. Feedback was greatly appreciated and they cleaned up very well afterwards. Would use them again.

Very professional! The cost estimate matched our final price and the work was exceptional. We had plumbing, drywall, and bathroom vanity installation. All were done within the stated time frame by the same craftsman. He was on time and worked diligently to ensure that the final result met our expectations. Will definitely use this company again.

We were impressed how he treated our home as if it were his own, taking care that everything was repaired with the highest quality. Used them for finishing our basement. We had some of the normal issues you experience with a construction job but they were handled well and the finished product was great.

We hired Jonathan for a huge double project that included a simultaneous complete master bathroom overhaul and a basement finishing. We wanted some pretty specific things including a two-person natural stone steam shower in the bathroom and a hidden room with secret bookshelf doors in the basement office. Jonathan and his project manager, Bill, were totally up for the task and 100% professional. They worked with us every step of the way, navigated the inevitable obstacles and pitfalls with transparency and accountability, and made sure every detail was done to our liking. It was a marathon, but in the end, we got a perfect score on our inspections and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I would trust them with any future projects and intend to recommend them to anyone needing a professional for a project, large or small .

Home Improvement Express remodeled my family room to remove an alcove above a fireplace to make an accent wall and mounted the TV. From beginning to end they handled the job with professionalism and pride, the contractor treated this like it was his own home. I appreciated how they worked with me on figuring out the wiring and getting everything placed just right. I also appreciated how he laid down protective floor covering and put up a plastic wall to control the dust as much as possible. I absolutely love my new room; wish I did this years ago. Thank you Home Improvement Express for making my home so beautiful!
