As a business owner we rely on our service providers to competently perform the installation of the products we purchase and count on. Cameras were installed and MIdwest Alarm failed to connect these cameras to the NVR – recording device purchased from and installed by Midwest Alarm. Brought this issue to executive team (via email and phone) and VP assured me they would reach out to resolve. Waiting weeks, that call never came. No accountability offered and when a different Executive (COO) finally did return my call today, zero accountability.

If you expect after sales support, you’re going to want to go elsewhere. I’m sure their equipment is good, but after 2 months of pursuing them to come show me how to use the system they installed, I’ve come to realize they’re not interested in that part of the job. The salesman keeps passing the buck, the service guys don’t return calls, and the front office doesn’t know how to transfer a call without hanging up on me.

We have had a Midwest Alarm security system for several years and it has been a VERY positive experience! Everyone has been so professional and pleasant to work with. The customer service is superb! It is so nice to be able to check on our home when we are away, and provides peace of mind. This is a top notch company! The 24/7 operators are right on top of things and very helpful! We are 100% satisfied!

I would not even give one star to this company.We have been their customers for almost 2.5 yrs and they charge around 40-60 bucks(something like that) for maintenance. They just advertise so much but the service is horrible. No calls are returned inspite of multiple calls. I was told they cannot look at latest data from our facility for another week as they were upgrading the system-question is “so what happens if somebody is looking for a crime data-you have to wait 1 week for that 🙂 Also,I was told there are only 2-3 technicians trying to take all the complaints from customers and that’s why the delay. I had thought this was a well maintained company but now my impression has changed .We will be discontinuing this service if this is repeated but I would not recommend anybody to join as a new customer
