There soliciting is out of control. Especially from a guy named Chris ( atleast thats what his tag says). Lately hes been in the San Antonio Stone Oak area. Very rude and creepy.

Absolutely rude and ridiculous reps being sent out and are harassing our neighborhood. This person showed up at our door yesterday at 7:30pm, completely ignored the no soliciting sign, while starring right at it. When I asked him through the ring what he wanted he started dancing some sort of rain dance and again ignored me. I told him 3 times to leave and he just looked at the door starting to laugh out loud, and continued to dance. I eventually screamed through the door bell for him to immediately leave and he started shaking his head, laughed again, took his scooter and left. Another neighbor had a similar experience with him and he was just as unprofessional. Rode his scooter on his driveway. If that is who they hire and how they train their employees I definitely am not interested in any of their business!

Not anything to this store specifically but to the company in general. My truck got broken into and the cameras did not detect ANYTHING. But if a squirrel goes by on the sidewalk, it’ll alert me. My doorbell speaker has gone out twice already. They said they’d send a replacement but never came. Customer service is a joke cause all they will do is pass you around.

Definitely going somewhere else for security. Never even used vivint before but their sales people are some of the most inconsiderate people I’ve seen. First time, they woke up our newborn knocking even with a no solicitor sign in view. I told them I wasn’t interested, pointed at the sign and explained that I’m trying to put our kid to sleep. The salesman completely ignored me and started probing me about security cameras. The most recent encounter was very similar. He walked up on us and before he could get close, I politely told him we were not interested. Once again, completely ignored everything I said and started asking me a bunch of question.

This dude showed up uninvited, was rude from the onset and did not introduce himself by name or provide any employee information…he jumped straight into asking a bunch of questions that he has no need to know and trying to sell Vivint. I point out that there is a big no soliciting sign and he should read it and he acknowledged he read it before knocking but did so anyway. I told him he was not welcome and he got hostile and even more rude. Since he failed to identify himself, I stepped out to get his license plate to potentially verify if he was even with Vivint and he started coming back my way aggressively shouting “what you gonna do? What are you gonna do about it?” Completely unhinged and absolutely unacceptable.

He would not introduce himself and we have a sign that states DO NOT RING OUR DOOR BELL. Especially at 8pm. We have a baby and really ruined our evening routine. We understand he has a job to do but 8pm is NOT the time to ring a doorbell when someone has a sign asking you not to do such. We will never do business with vivint for this very reason alone.

I agree with all the negative reviews for Vivint. I recently, November 2023, upgraded my Vivint System before reading all the reviews. I’ve been with Vivint since 2016 and did not have any problems until now. I received a quote online and scheduled an appointment with a technician for consultation. When the technician, Manny Cruz, arrived he quoted me a lower price than the quote I received on the phone. I paid the lower price from the technician in full. Then the following day, when I was checking my card statement, I noticed Vivint had charged me additional amount from the priced quoted by the technician and that I paid in full. I called Vivint and after a heated discussion they agreed to reimburse me. They reimbursed me in December 2023. Now in January 2024, Vivint is, AGAIN, billing me for, an additonal amount beyond the final drive out price that I was quoted by the technician, telling me the amount is for equipment for the November 2023 upgrade! This is not true!!! I paid in full, almost for the lower price the technician, Manny Cruz, quoted me. Manny told me Vivint was having a holiday sale that was lower than the price I was quoted over the phone. Now they are STILL trying to charge me extra!!! When I contacted them via phone, they were not helpful. The customer service rep connected me to the manager but there was no answer so I left a message and then he called me back and when I answered the phone the manager did not answer. Then I checked my voice message and he said he would return my call in 30 minutes but he never called again. I am filing a complaint, against Vivint, with the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH VIVINT!!!
