This job is a good stepping stone to other jobs. Work life balance doesn’t exist here. You will always be overworked constantly and if you don’t agree you’re automatically on their bad side. Field Manager like Alex Jackson will constantly change your schedule to fit their needs even if you let them know it doesn’t work for you. CSM’s are constantly picking and choosing what guards they want at their sites and if they don’t want you they push onto someone else and you get stuck begin a flex guard with zero hours. No one ever knows what’s going on everyone is running around like headless chickens

Really? You have a driver’s license? This past Saturday afternoon one of Pal American Security drivers pushed the nose of his car almost into the front of mine on Denny. He was AGGRESSIVE. Where does he get off? I laid my horn on. He did not stop. He forced his car in. WOW! He’s a security guard. I hope he does not have a gun or taser. If he is AGGRESIVE in a car, how is he in person. Passive aggressive. BTW His driving was erratic. I have called Pal American to get the company’s name and to voice a strong concern.

Pal American is a huge joke. I worked for them for 2 weeks and so many flaws right off the bat. One they don’t communicate well with each other at all. Two. The managers are so detached from their employees they don’t even care what they do. Multiple unprofessional employees and they won’t do a thing cause they need the man power so they’ll keep anyone they can get. Three. They would rather make me deal with a bully/harasser at work than acknowledge his behavior. Once I try and speak up about it and tell them I refuse to work with said co worker I am the one getting in trouble. Not to mention it’s a weird relationship between all the employees. A lot of fraternizing happens behind the scenes. They hire anyone and don’t train properly. It’s a joke of a company.

If I could put negative stars I would. Mr.Jaime fired me because 1 day out of 16 of work performance wasn’t up to his standards and it was my first day at said location. The client also lied and told him I said I was looking for other jobs which I did not. I said I preferred to be closer but Everett is all they had available. No employee is going to stay at Everett location unless they’re old because no young person is going to spend 8 hrs watching paint dry and entering a bathroom code every minute with no cell phones usage allowed. The client also told him they told me to put my phone away which they did not. I filled in for Seattle did great no complaints,filed in for Bellevue no problems did great,barely used my phone there. I have a bad day literally 1 bad day at Everett because my dog was deathly ill which I told the client I’d be on my phone a little more because of I’m fired no second chance no nothing not even a warning like they claimed their process is. Oh and btw the job is literally 2 and a half hours away from me Bellevue had an opening and I could have been easily transferred like real security companies who have their workers backs do and been given a second chance but the clients are more trustworthy than the workers apparently weird how yall are constantly losing contracts and sites still though. I also emailed Jaime 3 days ago never heard back never even met him and the first time he meets me he fires me. Thank God I’m moving back to Alabama in 2 weeks no wonder why yall aren’t in every state. My drug test and my background check literally took a month as well if I hadn’t constantly bothered them about it I probably would’ve never heard from them again. Extremely unprofessional. Also had to wait an hour in a lobby and take an hour and a half bus ride that could have easily been a phone call. If they think I’m going to come back on an hour and a half bus ride to give their uniforms back like he asked me to than he better send someone to my apartment in Redmond to retrieve them because he’s deathly wrong 🤣🤣🤣 take it out that next paycheck if you see this. You no boss no more Dobbie free elf. Edited to say Mr.Jaime said he couldn’t get past that day at Everett yet he scheduled me the very next day to go to Bellevue 😅🤣

So I wasted my time having a long 45min phone interview and went through the trouble of going in for a drug test and apparently the HR generalist >>>Alejandro Garibay<<< who took my drug test result said he will be in contact but it’s almost two months and dozen of times of contacting their dispatch and receptionist but supposedly he’s in vacation or the holidays are coming up so he can’t get to you. This company seems very stretchy so now I have to keep them under my radar since they have my social security number and drivers license record and pictures of my ID. Furthermore, if I don’t pass the background check or drug testing they should still give an answer. Due to that I am very concerned now please don’t waste your time folks or your sensitive info!!!

I pulled over on the side of Stone Ave in Seattle to wait for a friend of mine that I was giving a ride to. Across the street is the “Infrasource” building (a natural gas utility company). Anyway here comes super mall cop from PalAmerican to tell me that I was double parked (though I was not) and that the spot I had chosen had a no parking sign (the sign was indeed there). After smiling and politely telling him I would move, he shook his head as though he had touched something filthy and continued to lecture me as if I had refused. The only reason a gave Palamerican 2 stars, and not 1 is this is my only experience with the company at all, so maybe the rest of the security guards do the job they were hired for instead of playing traffic cop well outside of the parking lot he guards not-so-diligently. Two thumbs down for you Paul Blart.

I’m convinced that this particular security company is the best one around in all of NW Washington State. The extensive training and interviewing process they use to get qualified candidates for employment is second to none! I know this first hand because I am one of those candidates trying hard to get on board with them now. I’ve been doing both armed and un-armed security work/guest relations officer work since 1993.
