They were great until the “transitioned customers to ADT monitoring centers”. They swore up and down that it was just for monitoring, that everyone was still an Ackerman customer. Then I start getting billed by ADT, and Ackerman is completely out of the picture. So, they sold off customers and lied about it.

Terrible customer service. Bought a house with this pre-installed and when i had issues and wanted to review having it disabled; they simply pass me on to ADT who said to call an electrician with no reference.

The customer service is the worst. Their system is terrible. I went days without service because the battery died quite a few times, and I wasn’t able to arm the system. For the monthly fees I was paying, I definitely would NOT recommend. It took them about 3 weeks just to get me my yard sign after installation. I had to literally call and harassed them for them to give me my yard sign that I paid for.

0/5. I can’t wait until my contract is up. The sales representative E. Royal sold me cameras I did not want. Alfredo Chavez, the representative who replaced my cameras is no longer communicating with me via email. I’ve been emailing him for weeks no response. He can at least give me the representatives email I need to get in contact with to fix my issue.

While the system is very good the payment option via Synchrony Bank is dodgy af. It just feels that it is a scam to get you to sign up for other services like automatically signing us up for a charge card, weird credit reports etc. There is no need for payment scheme to feel this complicated and underhand. If we had to do it again we would pay in full to avoid Synchrony Bank.

Too much to list. Not worth my time to write about my recent experience in detail. . Still waiting on a return call for resolution. Buyer beware. I was a loyal customer of over 10 years and purchasing of a system for my new home has been a terrible experience

I signed up they came here selling stuff i agreed to it they open a LOC and i don’t have what i ordered! The sales guy is now ignoring me and so is his manager! I called Ackerman an signed up with Ackerman but adt is debiting my account! I don’t even know who my security company is and no one returns calls
