Honestly, it all depends on where they station you. You can have the easiest job sitting by a door to let people in or you can be somewhere that you have to continuously break up fights or deal with riots. My personal experience here has been amazing, but I know that’s not everybody’s story here.

I’ve been employed with Star for going on 4 years now and I will say this company is great! They have always been flexible and helpful with me when it come to anything I need whether its questions regarding scheduling times, me needing day(s) off or if a family emergency occurs. They are also very good at giving opportunities to move up in the company. I’ll be honest therr were a couple times where communication wasn’t the best early on in my employment but that has improved by a ton. Star has been nothing but kind to me the entire time I’ve been employed with them.

For my nearly 6 years of being with the team at Star Protection and Patrol, I have had the opportunity to grow personally and professionally and gather experiences that I never would have otherwise with any other employer with the number of diverse assignments. Working with veterans, retiree’s, former law enforcement and those attending the academy as well as many brand new to the Private Security Sector. I know that in order to become a great leader, one must be a good follower of direction first. Not only would I highly recommend anyone to apply to potentially become an employee but I’d also recommend anyone with Security needs to please reach out to our Office for more information.

I’ve been working for STAR for around 9-10 months now and it’s the best job I’ve ever had. They’re extremely flexible, work with your schedule, allow you time off and also allow you to pickup extra hours if needed. They’re family owned and really show that by how they treat their employees. It is an excellent stepping stone for going into law enforcement as they are very encouraging and supportive. Or, moving up in the company is an option as well and they truly recognize your talents and hard work. Pay is great, hours are great, everyone is kind and friendly and willing to help. I am going into law enforcement soon but I would highly recommend STAR for anyone who is interested in law enforcement, loves working security and helping people, and interacting with the community.

My experience with Star Protection and Patrol as an employee has been great. They always listen to my concerns and whenever I need time off they work with me to make sure I get the time I need.
