I’ll try to make this short: +By the books and legitimate operation +Helped me understand what needed to be done to get into security +Managers try to take care of you… as long as it’s convenient for them. -Mass hiring (I get it high turnover in security but still never a good sign) -Very salesmenly interview process, selling me on the company not seeing if I’m good fit -Make you pay 400+$ out of pocket for proprietary knock off Police uniform that they will not buy make from you even at a reduced rate (huge 🚩) -Very stingy, startered unarmed, got armed certificate, they tried to keep me at the same pay rate after making me pay the FCC card fee -Pay itself is sub-par -Schedule commonly released 1-3 days before the next day of work -Won’t hesitant to have you work a late night then any early morning the next day -Operations managers not on the same page, some better than others -Advertise for accounts they do not have secured -Understanding of excused absences (Doc visits, sick days, mil/police obligations) untill they decide they are not. -excessivly strict on uniform they made you pay 400$ for. Only caring about image and not having capable or attentive “officers” all about looks. If every inch of your equipment is not black they will let you know how much it bothers them. Vest? Better be under your tacky cop outfit or look like a police vest. Firearm not 100$ black, they are upset, magazines not black, same deal. -Millitary grooming standards for men (Unbelievable for sub $20h pay) -Common to start you at a location close to your home only to slowly move you further from it. -Everything is about the client (I get it you have to make money and retain clients) but 0 advocating for there employees at all -Close minded to feedback to improve accounts with the client -Will talk down to you in emails yet refuse to call “We shouldn’t have to” If you’re looking to get into security, I’d stay away, I can’t even recommend Guardian as a stepping stone due to the 400$ uniform costs. Learn from others’ mistakes and avoid.

Was told not to discuss my pay by that creepy white guy. Edit- there’s a reason you didn’t find me and won’t. I’m not interested in contacting you or working with your company again and will advise anyone else seeking employment through your organization to search else where.

ATTN!! WARNING!! Guardian security is by far the worst family owned security company in AMERICA. This company (Guardian Security) charges over $400 for uniforms, but Guardian only pays their employees $16.50 an hour. My reviews are facts, and I have proof. This is not defamation, I have no reason to lie. If I can help stop someone from getting covid, I will. People, especially young people! Please don’t work for this company, management have no respect for their employees/their wellbeing. Guardian security has an employee that works at the Crate & Barrel distribution location in Romeoville, IL , who is intentionally spreading COVID to employees, not only are the security Officers had/has covid, crate & Barrel employees had covid as well. I find it disturbing that Guardian Security operations manager knew that his employee had covid and he didn’t care to tell him to stay home and get well, but instead he had the employee to come in to work anyway knowing he had covid, because that location needed two guards to work. I reported this to others, I reported this to the Guardian security team, and to crate & Barrel managers as well. Avoiding me and ignoring me won’t change the outcome of you all actions. Dear Guardian Security Services family, please don’t think you are getting away with what you did to me and others, and how poorly you treated me, I SERVE A POWERFUL GOD, I will prevail. No good will come to you/your team (Guardian Security) I’m one of God’s favorite children, In the meantime, I’ll be praying for your employees and crate & Barrel employees. I pray that they all go get tested for covid ASAP! Thanks.

Horrible with communication. I’ve been coming up there and calling regarding me passing my interview, waiting for them to tell me the positions available for 2 weeks! Kept leaving voicemails. This is ridiculous.

They are withholding my pay stubs because I quit it’s very childish locked me out of the ehub and refuse to print out my stubs so I now have put my complaint in with the Illinois department of labor so they can deal with them it’s petty what you have to go through to separate yourself from a emotional staff if they could print a couple stubs they could print them all that makes no sense a company keeping all but a couple of paycheck stubs it’s criminal I just came from the office and have texted with guardian and still nothing so your response is useless until they have reached back out to me via email with my paycheck stubs acting petty and not giving me all my stubs just shows your lazy or petty or both so unless you plan on sending me all of my paycheck stubs you will be dealing with the department of labor

I’m not an employee but I’m making an review from what I have seen from the way they treat my wife ,they make her work 16 hour shifts with no relief ,she would work a 3-11pm shift and after she gets off they would call her at 1 am to return back to work till 7 am when she hasn’t had any rest ,she has fear in telling them no for fear of being fired but I’m going to file a complaint with the labor board.
