I had planned to stay with allied universal as a security professional long term. Allied Universal is contracted with other well known companies. Allied universal promised me 40 hours at a Job fair, when I started I was only scheduled to work 32 hours. So I worked 32 hours & picked up as much OT as I could. March came around & this led to post orders changing, and moving to another site for the same contracted company. The only problem was My schedule was changed to less than 32 hours & I was scheduled as “extra” most days out the week. Loosing my hours, I emailed allied HR directly, I never got a professional update. The response was “I will pass it on” & I was no longer contacted with updated information. After the Email was sent, days later I checked my schedule & saw that I was no longer scheduled at all for the whole month of March-April. So I assumed I was fired. Nobody reached out to let me know about my “termination”. I did call supervisors & got no response. When I filed for unemployment, Allied Universal has told Unemployment that I voluntary left for another job & my last day of work was April 13th. which is far from the truth. My last day of scheduling was March 15th. Allied universal is very unprofessional & unorganized. I am also not the first employee that was removed from the schedule or having other incidents occurring.

Update: They have fixed one of four burnt out light poles in front of the Kohls store at the mall. The only remaining anchor store the owners haven’t run off yet! Apparently they must have financial troubles and can’t fix all the parking lot lights to ensure a safer environment at night for customers! After seeing two brand new vehicles at Eastland mall marked with this company name I assume they are doing security for the mall. They need to get the exterior lighting in front of Kohls fixed as well as lights on the roads by the mall entrance between Kohls and the post office. If you don’t make places safe how do you expect customers to feel safe at night shopping here?!?!?

I believe you all have employees stationed at Kraft in Champaign. If so, one of your employees is a very rude, unprofessional little girl. I was told that her name may be Star. I’ve had two separate incidents with her. The first incident was a couple of months ago. Kraft allows up to park on the property to take our 10hr break. I was parked and on my break. I was awakened by someone knocking on my truck. I went to my window and she said that I couldn’t park where I was, I would have to park outside of the “gate”. I said okay and proceeded to roll my window up so I could get dressed. I was thinking that maybe Kraft changed their policy. As I’m rolling my window up, she said to me “you need to move now” and was walking away. I asked her why did she have an attitude and she said she didn’t have one and continued walking. Now today, 9/9/23 I was checking in to pick my load up. I gave her my PO# and she shut the window. Usually the guards would ask the reefer fuel level, have you been here before, pull up so I can tag you etc. She never did any of those, SHE NEVER CAME BACK TO THE WINDOW. She left me sitting at the window on the scale. After maybe 5 mins I’m trying to figure out what’s taking so long being she got out of her seat and walked away. The guards usually take 3 minutes at the most to check you in. When I looked into the guard shack again, I see her in her chair with her back slightly turned to me on her phone. I blew my horn and she looked and threw her hand up in a way you would shoo someone, and she went back to leaning back in her chair, on her phone. I have never had any issues with any of the security guards ever until her. I’ve been told by other guards/Kraft employees that I’m super nice and polite to everyone there, and they don’t understand her attitude towards me and other drivers. Is she the type of people you all want representing your company? I’ve included pics of her. From where I was parked, those are the best ones I could capture. She’s even standing outside on her phone.

Please steer clear of this place of employment! I was hired trained for 4 hours asked to come in the next day on my day off and was terminated because i made conversation with a employee on my lunch break in parking lot about if the employee had social media! , the company suspended me pending an investigation saying i was wrong for making the employee feel uncomfortable! All in writing i have further contacted an attorney pending a lawsuit for false termination please be weary of companies that do not value their employees! No write no coaching no training just termination on their behalf
