Like the alarm, hate the support people. If I write what I really want to, they won’t publish the review. Was told lastnight that I would receive a call to help with the issue. Surprise surprise, no call. Receive a call at 615 am. On call guys phone was on silent. Skip to the end, he calls me a d!ck, says find a new company and hangs up on me. I will. Failure from first person, to last. Turns out this guy has a reputation for this kind of treatment.

We had a tech security for many years and we were very happy with them. If you are also a customer of theirs, you will have recently received an updated contract that they want you to sign. Please beware of this contact and read it carefully before you sign it. It calls for the homeowner to get a $1 million policy naming a tech as an additional insured, and the premium is your responsibility. Also they do not stand behind the equipment that they install. They say that they will install equipment but they do not guarantee that it will work, and they relieve themselves for all liability for any equipment that does not work or perform as expected. If you sign this contract you waive any right to a jury trial, and you waive any right to even make a claim against them. Especially beware of the following, if you continue to use their services, the last paragraph in the agreement states that you are agreeing to the contract whether you sign it or not! There are a number of problems with this agreement, it is very unfriendly to their customers , and I have only named a few of the problems with it. I wrote to the lady who sent me the contract and I asked if we could discuss it or if there was somebody I could discuss it with, and I simply have not heard from her. Sadly, we will be moving our business elsewhere, and I am so sorry to have to do that.

Enthusiastic kudos to A-Tech on our recent full system update (and upgrade) and monitoring switch-over! Rich is extremely knowledgeable and was very responsive to our needs as we discussed home security options to upgrade our system. The A-Tech staff did an exceptional job setting us up and Rich himself spent the entire day on-site with his team. Highly recommend!
