Our association had three very old trash bin enclosures that needed to be replaced. We saw two very attractive vinyl enclosures at a neighboring community and found they were done by Carter Fence. A phone call got us a visit and a quote. Matt Hunter of Carter got us through the County permit process – always a mystery to me – and their very professional crew did an outstanding installation. We couldn’t be happier. The enclosures are beautiful.

I used Carter fence to put a gate around my pool and a wooden fence around my backyard. If you use this company make sure you read every single word in the contract and retake the measurements. I unfortunately went by what we had discussed which was very different than what was in the contract. The fence was put in 5ft away from the property line so my yard is now much smaller than it could have been. They didn’t properly measure the gate around the pool. They had a picture in the contract where the gate went to the house but the measurement was shorter. So I had to pay an extra $1,000 for the difference. I also had asked for a white wooden fence and they failed to tell me they do not have a white wooden fence that I would have to have it painted which it said in the contract but I didn’t realize that applied to me because I asked for white wood to began with. They do not go over the contract with you they just email it to you and expect you to sign it and send it back. It was my fault for not reading it thoroughly but I felt like they should have gone over a few things especially when they knew they were not doing the things that we had discussed. I felt like the cost was a little high but what was worse was it took them 5 months before it was finished and that made us to loose some rental income. So bottom line make sure you read every word of the contract and go over the measurements.

We had a great experience with Carter Fence. They gave us a reasonable quote and completed our project in an appropriate time frame. Jacin at Carter Fence was really helpful through the whole process. We had 3 gentlemen arrive and complete the aluminum fence around our backyard within 6 hours. Three months later the fence still looks good, gate works great as well. Highly recommend.

We have been paid in full since March 2023. It’s now nearing March 2024 and No gate!! Communication is not even a thing for them. And I’ve called and I believe they tell the receptionist to not answer ..just called to get answers on a form I’m supposed to sign and the receptionist Vanessa didn’t want to transfer me so she left me on hold until the line disconnected . Last time I called over 20 times and she wouldn’t answer knowing it was me. I imagine if we hadn’t paid in full they would bee communicating with us daily to get the rest of their money but since they have it they are in no rush to install our gate . Probably the worst decision was going with them should have known after both our estimators left the company. Stay away from these people !!

I paid for my fence in full one year ago still I have no fence. This is beyond the most unprofessional business. I have ever dealt with in any type of construction or business in general. I guess since they have my money. They really don’t care if the gate goes up or not.

Way over priced came in over 2k more than the 3 other fence companies. They don’t give you an estimate for they say 2 weeks my estimate came in a little over two weeks. Felt like the estimate included the salesman’s commission. 🙁

The office staff is amazing and the installers definitely knew what they were doing. The finished product and the quality was as promised. I received two estimates and Carter gave me the lowest. A special shout out to Paola who made sure I was pleased. Thank you for a job well done.
