Tom was wonderful to come over to do a quote. He thought he could squeeze me in June 2021. I never heard from them again. I called again 3 weeks ago (2024) to see if they have more availability/ flexibility and was told they would call me back. I think I give up.

I had a fence installed in October 2021. By March 2022 I started calling because I have split boards and broken boards. I called all of 2022 and finally received a return call in February 2023. Tom told me he would be here within a few days. I still have not seen him. I continue to call him and he makes excuses about how busy they are. It’s July 1 and I still do not have any resolution to the situation.

Scott County Fence installed a wood fence at my home. They ended up installing the fence earlier than what we originally expected, which was a really nice surprise because we were eagerly awaiting our new fence. Their prices were very reasonable, and the fence looks great. Tom, Kevin, and their crew were great to work with before and during the installation. They also tore down the old fence and installed the new one in one day – very efficient! Really pleased with our new fence.

We had a beautiful Vinyl fence installed approximately 4 years ago by Scott Co. Fence and worked with Tom from bid to completion. He was kind and professional throughout the process. Prices were excellent compared to others in the area and they have stood behind their product, even servicing an issue caused by the derecho storm in 2020 and a vehicle that damaged an entire section of the fence this year. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work!

This the worst company I have ever dealt with!! Rude, unprofessional, they don’t care about you as a customer. They don’t care about how much of your hard earned money goes into your fence. They don’t know how to measure to save their life! Some of my property is not even enclosed!! I had 2 gates put in and 1 gate I can’t even open now!! I called to have it fixed and I told him I wanted it fixed properly for the money I spent and he said and I quote “It’s all reletive”! I am furious! Stay far away from this company!!! Horrible company!!!!

Tom the owner is an extremely rude person. He does not follow through. He is very disorganized. He seemed nice when selling product but when we tried to get help after the wind storm he was very rude, mean, not professional. He rarely answered his phone and when he did, he was very short, could hear the anger in his voice because he felt we were bothering him with something little. Well, the cost of the fence was not little, that’s for sure. I wish we would have gone with another company. Too late for us, but stay away from this business. We definitely did not matter to him as a previous customer. Rude rude rude! We ended up paying someone else to fix our fence. We are happy we “never” have to talk with Tom the owner again.

10/30/2020: Called Tom on the 19th of October, scheduled an appt for the next day. Tom showed up early on a Saturday morning, he listened, gave quick solutions or professional opinions about my vision. Super friendly and knowledgeable. He provided a hand written quote that day and then on Monday we had a mailed bid delivered to our house (TWO days later) with tax and whatever added. The next day I called to confirm our acceptance of his bid and within 10 days my beautiful fence is installed perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and would highly recommend hiring Scott County Fence. Workers were professional, friendly, and no mess was left over. Less than a two week turn around start to finish! Good job, Crew, thanks again!!!

Honestly probably the best experience a customer could ask for. Tom was courteous, professional, on time, had great communication, excellent craftsmanship. He was fast with responses, he made a plan and kept it. His and team and Him built a huge fence in only 3 days. He was also honest and upfront with prices and also fantastic rates as well. I would highly recommend this company.
