I am very unhappy with the fence that Hercules & Atlas Fence installed on my property. I have no issues with the material; the installation is the problem. I had a wood fence that was to be replaced with a vinyl one. On the South side of my house, Mike Green (owner) thought that changing the position of the fence slightly would be a good idea. He asked me to come outside so we could discuss the change, of which I approved. On the North side, however, Mike constructed the new fence 3″-6″ away from where the old fence was, leaving a gap between the wooden deck and the vertical fence line. This gap is not only visually unappealing, it is dangerous! When I tried to talk to Mike about the problem, instead of being a responsible business owner and calmly discussing my concerns, he got angry, stormed off the property and drove away. When he finally returned, he told me he would only move the fence IF I paid him more money. Should I really have to pay for HIS mistake? I would never recommend Hercules & Atlas Fence.
