We did a lot of research before building our deck. We reviewed qualifications, received bids and met with several builders. In the end, we felt most comfortable with ZB Decking. Herbert and his assistant were incredible! The kept us informed every step of the way. They started the job when they said they would and even finished earlier than promised. They were very careful to clean up after themselves during the entire build and were very conscious of our lawn and landscaping. Our deck is everything we had hoped for and we love it! I would definitely recommend them!

ZB decking was a life saver on our project and Herbert went above and beyond on all expectations! Herbert and his son are hard workers who both truly care about the customer and the projects they work on. Everything was done the right way and we had inspections pass without any issue. I will only use ZB decking for my future projects from here on out and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a deck. They build their decks to the highest standard and in my opinion there is no company that could match the craftsmanship, customer service, and knowledge that you get when hiring ZB decking. These guys are awesome! They were recommended to us by a friend and we couldn’t be happier. They came ahead of schedule and were done quickly without leaving a mess. The only disappointment that I have is that our deck is big and beautiful and they don’t have any pictures of it on their website hahaha. You guys won’t be disappointed if you use Herbert and his crew, they are reliable and thorough!

Our new deck is beautiful and is superbly designed and built. We could not have asked for more. Herbert and his crew not only replaced our old deck quickly, efficiently, and professionally, but they built if far sturdier than the 30-year old original, and with superior craftsmanship in every aspect. Herbert is a great communicator, and he went out of his way to make sure we were happy. He even helped us find other excellent contractors for custom railing, stucco, and electrical work. It really makes a difference when a contractor is genuinely concerned with the customer’s satisfaction. We highly recommend ZBDecking. I would give 6 stars if I could.

We have a beautiful new deck! Herbert was patient and helped us with decisions to replace a small, rickety, 27 year old back patio. The process was easy, communication consistent, and the pricing was fair. Herbert put on some music while they worked and it was always interesting to look out to see him dancing and singing on occasion. It’s great to see someone enjoying their work and the quality is a testament to that. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with ZBDecking as they removed our old porch of 22 years and replaced it with a composite deck and pergola. Herbert and his team (Joaquin and Javier) were amazing. Their pricing was the least expensive of all the different bids; the quality of work was superb and completed in a timely manner and they handled themselves in a professional manner. We would use them again without hesitation.

Herbert and his team are great to work with! They were well organized and completed the work quickly. He and his team worked with us to design the right solution for some grading issues we were having. They got everything leveled out and designed right with quality concrete work as well!
