Double Check Builders converted our existing attached garage to living space, constructed a new attached garage, and replaced our siding. Matthew is the consummate professional; he and his team were excellent to work with. They did excellent, quality work in the time frame that Matthew presented us with at the beginning of the project, all at a fair price. We could not have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Double Check and will definitely hire Matthew and his team again!

A need arose for a quality skylight installation, and so Double Check installed the unusual Vellux C12 deck mount skylight, installed interior lighting and installed new sheetrock and structural members which meets my strict engineering standards. Specifically, I check to verify the sheetrock is ultra smooth. I have used Double Check before and the work is deemed (in my opinion) quality work.

Great family business, great people. Double Check has done general contracting work for me and my family for years. Highly highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They have gone above and beyond for me, most recently responding to a dire emergency that caused damage to the structure of my home, addressing all the issues and helping me literally put my life back together again. I hired Double Check builders to remodel my kitchen in Oct.2023. Matt, the owner, told me it would take 5-6 weeks from start to finish and that would have brought it right before Christmas. To my great joy and satisfaction, he completed the project before Christmas as promised. The crew was excellent, worked every day from 8-5 and cleaned up at the end of each day. Matt and Kurt (the supervisor), came by every few days to check on the project, worked with me regarding my requests as they came up and solved any pertinent issues. Matt had a payment schedule in the contract which made it easy to plan the costs of the remodel. I am very pleased with their professionalism, workmanship and the outcome of my kitchen. It looks great and I recommend them without reservation. I plan on using them again on any future home projects.

Matt and the Double Check team exceeded our expectations with our extensive home renovation! Their work was nothing short of amazing. They expanded our living space by approximately 400 sq ft, expanding both our family room and second-floor master bedroom with the addition of a new full master bathroom and walk-in closet. They also installed a new portico, updated and replaced our siding, and handled all electrical and plumbing needs, among numerous other tasks. Throughout the entire process, Matt, Joe, Kurt, and the entire team were responsive to any changes and additions we made along the way. Despite the inevitable hiccups that come along with any home project, Matt always showed positivity throughout the entire experience, ensuring that any issues were swiftly addressed with professionalism and leaving us feeling completely at ease. Doublecheck has been awesome to work with on several projects for my family. Mathew is honest and reliable. Always fair and very straightforward in his dealings. We have done big home renovations as well as small projects with him and his team over the last few years. Most recently he did a whole roof replacement. His subs are just as awesome to work with on the projects. Recommend them without hesitation!!

We currently have Double Check Builders doing a siding project on our older colonial home and although we’re not done, we are so happy we went with them and I felt I wanted to share as soon possible. From the start Matthew has been communicating every step that will occur and has made suggestions that not only encompass our vision but also things that will take it to another level and we’re so happy and thankful we found them. We will certainly be using them again and I’ll post again with pictures when it is all finished. Thank you Double Check Builders!
