Denean M. The responsibility of a Consumer, is to know what they want and to be able to afford to pay for it. We started our dream backyard project with a clear view of what we wanted and how it would end up looking. We installed new windows and did other projects, to make our backyard look inviting. We called the Composite Guys, to handle our deck project and that’s where our nightmare started. All of the tail tell signs were there, no follow up call to check on the progress, none of the people installing the deck, seem to have a relationship with the company and no consistent work schedule. 1: First of all, this is NOT A Company! THERE ARE NO “Employees” they use Subs exclusively, none of which are vetted, licensed or insured! So anyone inferring that I am a former Employee, is not telling the truth. I am a former Customer. 2: For your own protection, ASK FOR INSURANCE! 3: ASK for REFERENCES, at least 3-5! 4:The people in charge, don’t seem to be as informed about their business as they should be. Don’t expect anyone, to follow up with you on progress, changes or timelines. 5: After we made the final payment, in good faith, they all disappeared. We were left with damage to our property that had nothing to do with deck building. 8: Lastly: Do not trust one word that comes out of a guy named John’s mouth! I have never met, nor dealt with a more uncivilized person in my entire life. John’s sole purpose is to collect the money.

We love our deck, that was done by the Composite Guys. Wardell was in charge of the project and did a nice job! Highly recommend this Company, Wardell and his crew.

My deck was a redo from a wood deck to composite. It did need some structural support under the deck redone, but my contractor Wardell did not rush, but worked with extra care to make sure everything was exact. The deck was created with great attention to detail, and the final product is amazing! Wardell also rebuilt the ramp going into my shed in composite. He added a few extra touches to make his work really special! I highly recommend The Composite Guys, and Wardell is highly recommended!

Wardell, Nate and Josh were here on time every day. Always cleaned up after themselves and we’re very respectful of our property. They were very attentive to detail and created a beautiful deck exactly to our expectations
