Was originally happy with the work. Price was above market value (but our fault for agreeing to it). When we had issues with our patio sinking around the edges, they promised to come fix it time after time, after time, but never did. I would rather they had told by me to go pound sand, the first time I called.

Contract was signed in June with work to begin in August on a two level deck with dry living space and patio and screened area (118k). After speaking with Jon he stated that if we paid in full he would offer an incentive for a “grill station,” which we negotiated for an outdoor kitchen, but we would provide the appliances and counter tops. After many excuses the framing for the lower deck was finally completed in November. Numerous contacts were made and electrical was finally started in January, but could not be completed until weatherproofing was completed by Innovative Outdoor living (Deckorators). We continue to receive excuses from children being sick, Jon being sick, resource availability, delivery issues, and other things for failure to complete our project. We have maintained contact with Jon and Erica, but continue to receive excuses for the completion of our project and believe the money that we paid has been used to complete other projects.

I’m only giving them one start because the option for ZERO is not available. I contracted this company in May to have my deck done. We were working with another company but the owner came to our house and told us that we would have our deck finished by early June. As per their contract we gave them a check for 60% of the total cost. My first clue that they were shady should have been when the very first thing the next morning my check was cashed. As part of the contract they offered to draw the plans and present it to our HOA. Up until the last minute I had to chase them down for the plans, and they DID NOT present it to the HOA I had to. Non-the-less, here we are at the end of July, and they have not called for an update or an apology for their delay. My husband and I have had to repeatedly call them demanding a start date. Every time we speak to them they promise to be out the following Monday. We have now seen eight Monday’s and NOTHING! My husband found numerous complaints on this company on line, numerous reports to the Better Business Bureau, and law suits that were even aired by Channel 9 news. DO NOT CONTRACT these people to do ANY work, much less, DO NOT give them money to start the job.
