Jim built a deck for us. He did an excellent job. He ran into some unexpected issues and had to do more work than planned but did not charge us extra. We are very pleased with our deck and the service provided. I would definitely recommend Jim.

Jim built a deck for us, he is a busy man so it was scheduled a few months out. But we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. He kept his word on the price and schedule. Good quality work at a fair price. You can’t ask for much more out a contractor these days.

Jim does a great job, but make sure he doesn’t leave and promise to return at a later date to finish your job. He won’t finish it. Also make sure you get it in writing what he will do for what you pay him. He will change the price when he returns to finish the job. Jim built my deck in the winter and because my yard was not finished it was too muddy to finish the deck so he said he would return to finish it. Jim built a deck for me at another property so when we talked about price I told him I wanted lattice at the bottom and a gate, like my other property. He said at that price I can’t do the same as at your other house but I can do something else. I asked him to send pictures and I agreed on what he suggested at the price we discussed. When I called him 4 months later to finish the project he said it would be 350 more plus materials. I told him I already paid him and he said no it would be extra. We discussed it for a few more minutes and I finally said whatever I just want it done. He said he would be over Friday to finish it. We are now 3. Weeks from when he promised to finish it and he won’t return my calls or text. Be careful when you hire Jim. He does do good work when you can get him to finish his job
