We gave Decks By Design a contract back in October. Started off well but then a month in stopped work totally. Gave many excuses about customers in backlog weather etc. etc. Worst of all, never communicates issues with the customer. It is now been six months and we still have our deck project only half completed, yet they’ve collected 85% of our money. I would be very leery of using this contractor.

Started work sept 25, 2022. Work not finished mid nov. asked for check before leaving before thanksgiving and told would be back last week nov. no one showed, called owner, left message no return call. Called office and Susan was on phone with him and was advised he would be here dec 9 or 12th. Waited but no one showed. They didn’t put trim back or gutter, left a light not working and left steps undone. Bare wood showing. Also had on contract a screen porch and was told one excuse after another why it wasn’t in. No response from company at all until I sent text on a Saturday, ruining his weekend according to him. He said we were impatient, I advised it had been 10 weeks, he used the rain as an excuse and I told him all he had to do was call. This company is not on time and does not show up when they say and does not call or return calls. Beware!!!!
